If you’re going to visit the United States, you might drive, and if you drive, it would be helpful to read American street signs.
You will also learn English vocabulary words like: bottle deposit, bottle redemption center, private vs. public, parking meter, receipt, towed, porta potty, padlock, sprinkle, thermostat, and dispensers.

Hey you, anyone who comes to this channel, you are awesome since you come to a right place where Brent invented a new way to let you acquire the English language, not learn it consciously. The way is he's always on the way; thus you are on the way either. He's our eyes through which we walk, we watch, and we get used to everything around us that is woven into our mind in English.

Hey Brent! I think it’s time you create another channel just for visiting American hotels, because, man, you’ve visited a lot of them!!! Now, I’d like to know who’s responsible for towing illegally-parked cars in the US. And where do you pick you car up from if it gets towed? And who do you pay to get it back? The police? A towing company maybe? And one more. Sorry, too many questions 😅How do you get informed that your car has been towed? Do you get like a text message, or do you just face the shocking reality as you’re walking back to your car in the parking lot? Hope this doesn’t happen to you very often.
@AmericanEnglishBrent
@AmericanEnglishBrent 2 жыл бұрын
Mohd! Hey! Yes, there are independent tow companies that make money by taking cars. There is a number that you have to call to find out where your car is. 😀

At 00:25, "And the thing is, I can't stop teaching English until I get to my hotel room." == The reason I do a few of these videos is, I'm really into teaching English on the way to the hotel where I stay overnight. At 00:36, "I might have an awkward conversation with somebody who works at the hotel." == Some workers at the hotel might be wondering what in the world is this guy doing with a camera outside and inside the hotel? He might be a freak. Call 911. At 00:42, "I may mess up." == I may look like a stealthy or sneaky person while reading and teaching street signs for you; thus, people around me might kick me out. At 00:47, "I cannot stop the recording until I get up to my room, which is 221 (enunciated "two twenty-one")." == I will not stop recording before I go up stairs to get into my room. At 01:15, "I should pro(ba)bly get out of the road." == "I am supposed to leave the road for the truck coming." At 01:39, "It's right in front of the sign." == The sign says that you will be fined 500 dollars for littering, and you still throw the bottle trash; and the thing is you threw it RIGHT IN FRONT OF the sign. At 02:03, "Let's check out the bottle and throw it into the trash somewhere." = Let's take a look at it and find some information from it. [THERE'S A LOT MORE; THIS IS NOT THE END]
