After a two year hiatus, the Ramspur Winery Calistoga Half-Mile presented by Victory Chevrolet did not disappoint with wheel-to-wheel racing, featuring some of the best action of the 2014 season. Top riders like Jared Mees, Jake Johnson, Brad Baker, Sammy Halbert, Bryan Smith and others dice for positions at Calistoga Speedway, as the track serves as the penultimate round of the Grand National Championship.

Bryan Smith is a veteran rider and he knows the risk those behind him face by ignoring the black flag for blowing oil, especially on a dark groove track. Not only should be disqualified, but because this idiot did continually ignore the black flag even after a sign with his number was displayed so there was no question who was being black flagged AMA needs to step up and disqualify him for the last race. Again what an idiot to repeatedly ignore a black flag…

+donwist. Bryan Smith endangered the other riders who could have crashed, injured or killed themselves because of the oil coming out of his bike and onto the track. If you want to endanger your self, fine. But don't put others at risk because of your stubborn/dangerous behavior.

Anyway, congrats to Brad Baker...and shame on Bryan Smith for not pulling over. How'd Smith feel if someone crashed because of his dumbassed Kaw smoke spewing all over everyone behind him? Uncool. Really not sure what he had to prove by staying on the track? Because he could? I'd like to hear about him being fined, and lots of points taken away. It was nice seeing Baker finally win one in such a tough season for him. Brad Baker and Sammy Halbert (Sammy won the Dash for Cash) are both from East Pierce County Washington...pretty much cleaned up...way to go Sammy, and Brad!
