2015 Springfield Mile II - GNC1 Main Event Full Race - AMA Pro Flat Track

AMA Pro Flat Track’s premier Harley-Davidson GNC1 presented by Vance & Hines took to the hallowed Illinois State Fairgrounds on Sept. 6, 2015 for the Springfield Mile. Bryan Smith looked to make it two victories aboard the No. 42 Crosley Radio Kawasaki at the iconic venue this season but fierce competitors Jared Mees, Jake Johnson, Sammy Halbert and company had other plans in mind.

These guys are crazy! One of the best races I've seen in a long time with no major injuries. Those guys are really blasting around that track. Great video and thanks for posting it.

Another great race at The Mile; Springfield. The crew at that track are to be commended for their work. The 13,000 fans packing that grandstand speaks highly of AMAPRORACING. And the racers themselves are flat out fantastic! Congrats to Smith, Mees, and Johnson. Got to the paddock area and got to chat with the King of Cool and Slammin' Sammy. Good guys. Safe riding in the three finale races, boys! Thanks for giving us fans quality entertainment.

The #1 rider is having to ride that underpowered Harley.They smoke him down the straights. He's just staying on the throttle going into the corners. Good racing for sure... that was a friggin race.

Based on the fact that they can draft, pass and go into the corner and make it out safely, they could have faster motorcycles, correct?
