Regardless, both comments hold water in my opinion. Some dads have the vision to understand how to go the extra mile for their kids and then put a plan in motion to help their children achieve goals... not every dad has that capability BUT we all should strive to do the best for them that we can and, yes, that is part of the contract we sign as fathers. I can only hope dads like KB's outweigh the deadbeats at the end the of day.

Hashimotos had me in its clutches-including an embarrassing goiter in my neck. Gratefully, for many years now--I actually forget I have it. I Never forget to take that tiny little pill, though. I lost my beautiful smart daughter 20 months ago. She also had a voice where she could have went on the show. But she was also fricken hilarious and could have had a comedy channel. She took her life. KB, what you may feel at a particular given MOMENT is not representative of reality, even though it sometimes feels like it's set in concrete. I wish my daughter had been able to realize that. Keep on, you will accomplish great things, you are amazing!

I was never a huge fan of this song, and now I just play it on repeat. Over and over. I am in remission from a rare disease which has left me to suffer with Adrenal Insufficiency, thyroid problems, panhypopituitarism, osteoporosis, etc. At such a young age, these diagnoses can be absolutely devastating and life-changing. I cry and cry every time I watch this, KB you are so strong and so incredibly blessed to have a dad that loves and supports you like that. Please understand how special that is. These diseases can be so lonely, especially when you look so normal. Keep singing, keep going, you are such an inspiration. Much, much love to you from Ohio. 🫶🏼

I don't know if you will ever see this KB but I have hashimotos as well, I'm allergic to the medicine so they can't take my thyroid out but I'm regulated with the lowest estrogen patch out there and it helps a lot. I don't know your situation or if it's been tried but it might help you too. You are strong, you got this, never give up. ❤️

I truly think she can win! I was hooked in the first 10 seconds! She made this so her own! I’m obsessed with her tone! She’s a tone monster! Also, the way she shapes a phrase with so many different colors is so pleasing and just makes you seat on the edge of your seat and listen to every single word! The rawness and pure emotion in her voice is something you can’t teach! She did this thing where she was just behind the beat which made it so perfect, like she was singing through molasses. I saw you guys, I believe it was on Tik Tok, a while back and I didn't know you had Hashimotos! I was diagnosed with it when I was 18 and I'm now 27. You can definitely live with the disease, but that doesn't mean it's easy to live with it, and the worst part is, it's an invisible disease that sometimes no one else sees you struggle through but those close to you.
