Per capita income is up by 70% because of the shale revolution...if that's so, then the American middle class should be stronger by now. But instead, wealth inequality is worse. What say you?

Increased inequality may be due to different rates of income rising between various groups. There is little reason to suspect, even when a tide raises all boats, that it should raise all boats equally.
