I know usually Justin doesn't like doing interviews. But I enjoy his insight into things. He's got integrity. Major influence on my own stuff.

I feel like him and Daryl BOTH doing interviews lately is HOPEFULLY pointing to something new musically between them. I'd personally love a full length that's more along the lines of the our color green/ coloring book eps. Both of those are some of their absolute best work.

Growing up in the late 90s and early 2000s, Justin Beck was a massive influence to me when I finally picked up my first electric back in 2002. I based a ton of my sound and style around his.

Super insightful guy, and GJ as a whole is a huge influence. I wonder if the Israeli fusion band mentioned is Tatran?

I think in Worship and Tribute there was a very obvious shift in tone. I kinda took "I'm not throwing stones at you anymore" as hey, we're not the band you thought we were. I still love those songs to this day... GlassjAw was post hardcore and is.... GlassjAw....

Wild him and Daryl don't like ETYEWTKAS. I adore that and W&T along with most of their stuff. I'm surprised he didn't mention the band Sons of Abraham.

I think it really arrogant to say the albums that made his career an actual thing ,sound like sh*t. They sound good, at least. Why be like that? What is the real problem here, kid? You and Daryl are SO beyond it now? Ha Ha. Riiiight

The most recent interview with Daryl (lambgoat) about 7 months ago- he talks shit about how the first 2 albums sounds as well, especially EYEWTKAS. I'm sorry but saying Worship & Tribute sounds worse than Material Control is an insane take. MC sounds very muddled, like it's behind a wall in certain moments.

well, he is talking about the sound not about their music. I don't know to me the albums sounds fucking amazing.

well keep in mind they got absolutely GRAPED by their record label. In fact, if you buy EYEWTKAS they won't recieve any money from it. Also, their record label remixed it without their input or permission. So you can see, they have a lot of sour feelings towards that record. They hate it because they don't own it. I think that is the underlining theme whether they admit it or not. For me, EYEWTKAS is a masterpiece.
