On the point of that whole student loan thing, realize that 17 and 18 year old kids dont really know better. Its being constantly pounded in their heads to go to college. A lot of kids dont even fully understand the gravity of the loans they're taking out. They just want to get in college. And the parents dont know better. Especially in the black communities. There wasn't an Earn Your Leisure back then to re-train your mind financially.

It's not about the name of the college, its rapidly going through the system and obtaining a degree that will provide income not a useless degree. The goal is no debt to little debt."

(Chorus) We ride deep, rolling with the heat, In these concrete jungles, we own the streets, Gangsters on the grind, we never retreat, Drill music blasting, we can't be beat. (Verse 2) I'm from the city where the guns pop, Where the hustlers on the block never stop, Stacking paper, dodging cops on the spot, Got my crew by my side, we ready to rock. (Pre-Chorus) Money, power, respect, that's the code, In this gangster life, we're never sold, We move in silence, no story unfolds, Gotta stay low-key, let the story be told. (Chorus) We ride deep, rolling with the heat, In these concrete jungles, we own the streets, Gangsters on the grind, we never retreat, Drill music blasting, we can't be beat. (Verse 3) I'm a true OG, a legend in the making, Pushing weight, no time for faking, My rhymes hit hard, they shaking the foundation, Got the whole hood rocking, causing devastation. (Bridge) We rep the block, till the day we die, Living fast, taking risks, reaching for the sky, Gangster drill music, it's our battle cry, We'll never back down, we'll never comply. (Chorus) We ride deep, rolling with the heat, In these concrete jungles, we own the streets, Gangsters on the grind, we never retreat, Drill music blasting, we can't be beat. (Outro) So raise your fists high, let's make some noise, Gangster drill movement, we're here to deploy, We run this game, we're the kings and the boys, From the streets to the stage, we bring the joys.

The time I had to do my own research to find the scholarship. And by the time I was looking for which was in college most of the scholarships. Are only for high school students. Or those going back to school for specific majors? Or older students. That's. Considered? Non traditional. Same with We're going to a community college and getting an associates. Pretty much. Everyone I know that had younger siblings. They were able to help them navigate but for us 1st kids in college,. We really didn't know and the administration is set to make money so therefore. Aren't willing. To sacrifice to? Inform. Us? And this is of course before Internet age at this point it. Makes no sense to not know a bit better

You are struggling to get essays for your scholarship it is because the students have not been trained to do this type of work. I raise funds for scholarships at a college and the financial aid department doesn't require students to do an essay. If they meet the qualifications for the scholarships, they award it. The student is required to do a thank you letter before the scholarship is applied to the student's account. This works. For your high school, I suggest you do a financial literacy class with a group of students, like a half-day workshop. At the end of the workshop, ask the students to take 20 minutes and write about how they see what they learned will benefit them in the future. Those students can be the beneficiaries of your scholarship. And I agree with the community college approach. Everybody is college material because everybody can learn. However, everybody does not need to go into debt. There are a lot of high-quality school's students can attend and graduate debt free. Good conversation.
