Well.. the entire 'Americans are not stupid' claim flies in the face of basic known data. IQ is a measure of intelligence and the average IQ is right on 100 when taking the population as a whole. If you look at IQ charted on a curve you see a bell shape with most of the population falling under the tallest part of the curve, and 100 IQ is right in the center. This means that BY DEFINITION around 50% of the population is below 100 IQ.. ergo.. stupid. It is part of our slogan driven culture to make these types of mistakes.. Politicians have never been known for their intelligence.. so I just roll with it and know what to expect.
