I’ll be honest-the first African American I ever interacted with gave me a very negative view about y’all. We hosted her in our Nairobi home for some months as she did a research project. She was extremely toxic and negative and hated everything about everyone. If we came across white people she would always go on a rant about how horrible they are and lecture us on why we shouldn’t let them into our country. She was condescending and was surprised to see small things like ketchup and nachos here. Each time she saw a photo of Jesus she’d go into another rant of how Jesus was black and why do we have depictions of a white Jesus. How Africans are the same and we shouldn’t feel any better because we just didn’t get into the boat I couldn’t wait for this girl to go back to America and tbh she left me with a very low view of African Americans. I’ve watched some of your videos and you 2 seem really cool. I actually wouldn’t mind hanging out with you- that cool. So if the ones coming to Kenya are like you, they’re absolutely welcome. But if they’re anything like that girl oh gosh please just stay in America. I understand the racism and injustices most African Americans face in the States. But if someone is that traumatized I think it’s only fair for them to seek help before coming to interact and possibly negatively affect others. My 2 cents 😘

I dont blame these 2 or anyone else for moving out of the US, when i work as a psychiatrist, im moving out of the US and im moving to Ecuador, because the country of Ecuador has everything i need and everything that im looking for in a country and also because of the things that i hate in the US which are: hyper-individualism, the fakeness, shadiness, rudeness, superficialness, and the cliquishness from people in the US, the bullying, the cost of living, and the cost renting or buying a house in the US, how financially greedy American society is, how impossible it is to make/keep friends in the US and the politics, those are all the reasons why im going to move to and country because im so tired of dealing with all of these things in the US, i cannot take it anymore

The only way one can influence a nation is through investments, not by acting unruly. If Black Americans were to act out of pocket in Kenya, then they'd simply be deported, like any other foreigner. White folks have been travelling and living in Kenya for far longer than Black Americans - what influence have they had on Kenyan society (excluding colonialism, of course).

@uchenna127 For the most part, any black American traveling to any country in Africa knows how to behave. Some of us don't travel and take our American ways to other places and don't know how to adapt to other cultural norms. That's not the case for the majority of us that travel, especially the people that want to relocate to other places. They have spent to much money time and effort to travel to change their lives.

@@JaminT.Jaddua Thailand is an amazing country despite the heat. People are warm and kind, also it's is a tourist destination. There are so many islands and the city is vibrant and fascinating. Nairobi Kenya is beautiful too, it's the only city with a national park, weather is amazing not hot and not too cold, have beautiful beaches in the coast side, no language barrier as most if not all can converse in English, party life is wild in both cities. Thailand is more advanced than Kenya in matters infrastructure. You'll get stares here and there for being black and they give whites more privilege, air pollution sometimes is really bad so now and then you'll be forced to wear a mask or avoid outside activity so with that, east or west home is the best. 🇰🇪❤️

In regards to Austin's 15k people "won't even make a dent" statement to Nairobi's around 5.5million: The average Kenyan annual salary is around $3k, and the average US salary is around $65.5k. A 15k increase in population of average salaried US individuals represents around a 10.9% increase in mean salary for the country with only a .027% increase in population. If you understand macroeconics, then you know how this can very easily lead to a gentrification themed slippery slope if managed correctly/decently by those calling the shots. I'm all for bringing as much/many black US dollars and talents to Africa as possible but I feel that we all need to brainstorm, deeply, on how to manage/mitigate the resentment that we're guaranteed to receive from the locals that might bave very good reason to feel that our existence is making their lives more difficult for them🤷🏿‍♂️. This is coming from someone who has been to 30+ countries and was born in DC where gentrification is most certainly a major theme..

Regarding your other points on companies such as Microsoft and Oracle having branches there. The difference is they aren't advertising themselves on social media telling everyone to move to that particular region. They have a fixed number of employees they've hired. So of course they won't change the landscape of a society. There brand is product development. Not advertising Kenya or East Africa as a hub Also prices don't just rise automatically. That all depends on the state of the economy. Obviously attracting more investors boost economic outlooks but there have been countries that had stagnant prices.

PLEASE stop telling adults to stay in America. I'm sure you don't own any pieces of that continent. Since they are using their hard earned money to move around the continent and not yours, do not dictate. When millions of foreigners move to America, attend our schools, and move into our neighborhood, it's none of anyone's business. Americans don't refer to them as colonizers and we certainly don't force them to adapt to certain roots. I'm sure when Americans move to any country in Africa, they are seeking peace first and focused on not falling victim to being scammed. You seem bitter. You should channel your negative energy elsewhere. Those guys are offering trusted services needed by people moving from America to Africa. Please note that in America, we as black Americans are big on people minding their own business, and you should practice that tactic.

Y'all always throwing out the word "colonizer" anytime someone isn't stuck in misery like you. You need to stop using the word until you can define it. You're just envious, you're not an intellectual and you definitely aren't morally righteous in any way. Mind your business and let them live. What does "connect with your African roots" even mean? You sound way more like a damn colonizer Fascist by trying to shame black people and tell them what to do with their lives. Be sad by yourself, no one wants to accompany you in misery. Try again. Well, these guys are content creators so of course they’ll hype themselves up. But they’re just average dudes, back in the USA, they’re completely invisible to the women. If they go to a bar or a club, no one would even notice, but of course in Kenya the women notice them because they’re Americans, they’re different, so they get some attention. But soon the women realize that they just trying to get laid and they really do not have anything of substance to offer, and so they keep hopping from one woman to the next woman till word gets around and women start avoiding them then they move to next city. Because really their whole life is about women, nothing else. It’s a sad life but that’s what passport bros do.

I hope you can attract monied african Americans who can compete the Chinese.

Ruining it how ?who says so? Theres need for education of our black history amoung my african community not everyone knows the real history of us ,hence we see division because we were taught lies .black americans are not ruining the motherland ur welcome because the world is waking up those who are asleep continue sleeping but those who know know tht its a beautiful thing for the land to welcome its children. N this is not for the ones who dont think they are of african descent other than tht ur helping change the false narrative that africa has been painted as a whole .

First and foremost my comment isn't meant to be shade on you. Just some clarification on the topics discussed. Gentrification has its pros and cons. Its good for the development of a society when improvements are made to the infrastructure in order to attract more investment. However gentrification has been known to push already existing inhabitants off the land they currently live on. To make way for more established groups. This raises the standard of living and therefore pushes those who can't afford homes into more impoverished conditions. In an open market they government does not control the price of housing. They can step in and put certain stipulation in place but by doing this they will create problems for potential investors. Therfore outside investors will not want to do business in that particular country.

I think there trying to find there way. I think they are maturing and realizing that that passport bro life is exhausting and gets in the way of their peace. Case in point, the lawsuit threats. I bet those people are so much mad about being on camera without consent but moreso about being in content associated with passport bros. I think Auston and Bobby see the problem and are trying to pivot because they enjoy their lives in Kenya for more than just the typical temporary passport bro pleasures. They want to have longevity so they gotta switch up the content a bit.
