Can you do the Hull accent yet? It's an incredibly "flat" northern English accent. Examples of women on TV with this accent are Michelle Dewberry and Lucy Beaumont if you search for them in KZbin.

I came to Hull in 1966 from Chicago, Illinois, so I have lived here for a long time. I think Hull is one of the best cities in the UK. People seem to think Hull is not really that good but if you have lived here as long as I have you will see that the history of Hull is very interesting. A fascinating city indeed!

This is the first time ive seen one of your videos and its sort of smashed two things i watch on KZbin together. Firstly im from Hull however i moved to scotland seven years ago tomorrow, i still visit because all of my family is there but sometimes i like to watch things about Hull 😂. I also like to watch videos of people from other countries, particularly the US, trying our things or visiting to see what people such as yourselves think about our stuff so your video has smashed the two together and i think thats great. I loved the video, you seem like lovely wholesome people and i look forward to exploring your channel.

Woah this is the first time I've seen Americans vlog about Hull! It's really a hidden beauty. Loads of history here; Second most bombed city in britain after lindon during the blitz, hence the mixed architecture throught the city.

Yep and the city council couldn't decide on any particular plans for rebuilding until the mid 50s because of materials financial restrictions and shortages

The building at 10.40 is the guildhall. 2 largest guildhall in the uk. The brittania statue on its roof is great

Born and Bred in Hull or "Ull" local accentm its seen its best times and worst city. Became the city of cultural in 2017 i think dont quote me on this one. Council have created a split between the city good side not so good side. Typical city almost has everything to offer 😅❤ Economy
