I do not know where you are in Holland but try to vissit the markets in Beverwijk…there is a lot more Baklava than from Turkey.

Turkish Delight, not my thing. I think it's too sweet for me, but I wouldn't call it just another gummy. The taste is very recognizable.

Yes thats right because the Mexican Taco is originaly coming from the Turkish Döner Kebap, in Mexico the make it in the 19 Century with emigrants from Lebanon and middle east what at this time is Ottoman Empire and they bring the Döner or Shawarma to Mexico and Latin Aamerica ....so the Origins are in the Turkish Ottoman Empire ;) In Bodrum you have to eat BODRUM DÖNER its a special Döner Grilled with inside Vegetables like Potatos , Paprika and Onions and Tomatos and etc... very Tasty and special you will never find it ou of Türkiye .
