So im American and have been listening to Australian rap for about 3 years now and in my opinion kerser is probably the #1 rapper in Australia i wouldn't of suggested this song as your first experience with him hes got 7 albums all with great tracks the second best out of Australia has to be Vents though hes probably not as well known and completely different style and lyrical content from kerser if you wanna check him out search Vents Uno - Trust No One. Is a good track to react to i think hes more lyrical than kerser he just doesn't have as much material as kerser.

Aus rap was initially highly influenced by your stuff in the US now ,but our lyrisists are now keeping it realer than ever before ,and getting deeply in touch with Australias reality in the streets and in the psychy of what makes Aussies tick, addressing the social issues we are currently challenged by in this country in a deep and honest way, and its developing our direction in a really positive and creative direction .We have now broken free of imitating American rap and found our own way, its fuckn more and more inspirational and original as we move past the initial cultural cringing stage and uncertainty of our initial hip hop identity that we were experiencing 10 to 15 years ago as we were developing our true sound and connection to our own reality and to the issues we face that matter and effect the youth in this country.I like what u guys are doing ,keep it up...
