Lol ordinary, run-of-the-mill college boys usually aren't the sharpest people around. Personally I prefer to watch reactors who have more depth to their minds, something that these guys don't seem to have (the main guy seems to be better than his friends though). I guess we can't really expect college boys to give any meaningful or in-depth musical analysis. Can't expect them to truly appreciate the artistry or effort behind the production, lyrics or choreo. There are much better reactors out there, reactors who are in the music industry or who are rappers, those are the ones who can really appreciate the hard work and production value, even if they don't like the music. The guy in the sunglasses who was like "psh, I feel like I could dance like that" was indeed extremely arrogant. His attitude was like "that's nothing, I could do that." Seemed like he thought himself to be on the same level as people who trained for hours everyday for years and years.. like boy WHAT. BTS has more talent and charisma than that guy will ever achieve in his entire lifetime probably. I expected immaturity, but not to this level I guess. Parents need to do better jobs of raising their children. Hope the main guy gets better friends to do reactions with him, friends who at least have a little more depth to their minds. But I'm done with this channel.

i rlly hope u read this before u lose a lot of armys' viewership. the white boy rlly reacted to like two mainstream mvs n thought 'yea their dancing is better than their music'.. i think that comment was what ruined it for me. among many others ofc. what y'all saw barely scratches the surface of bts' full potential. i didn't expect y'all to know but bts has a very diverse music catalogue n summing up the quality of their music by one or mvs is extremely ignorant. n i don't expect y'all to like bts or their music but there's smth called open-mindedness n respect, bc this reaction was not it. this is y a lot of channels that clearly use bts for views start to flop w their bts reactions. if y'all genuinely want to see more content of bts that shows a wider range of their musical capability then i suggest taking the MOST COMMENTED suggestions in ur comment sections, not the most liked. most of the time armys r constantly recommending top tier content but u go for the most liked for some reason. i GUARANTEE u that even if u don't like bts' music as a whole, there's ALWAYS smth out there that u end up liking bc that's just how likeable they truly r lol. to clear some stuff n just put it out there, they never had it easy. n they r not some band that girls solely go crazy over bc of superficial things like looks. bts had a pretty rough start n background, from mistreatment by their own industry (belittled, sent death threats, cut out from broadcasts) to dealing w their own personal problems (growing up very poor, having depression, having body image issues). bts r made up of 3 rappers n 4 vocalists. they were originally supposed to be a hip hop group but debuted as a k-pop idol group. if u look at their older content, it is heavily hip hop influenced.

I've watched your three BTS reactions. 2 out of 3 had racism, and none of the songs seemed to hold your interest very much. I'm not sure what brought you to K-pop. Was it Blackpink? Nothing wrong with that, but if you like them it does not mean you will like all K-pop or BTS (they are really their own genre). I think most long-term Army can sense genuine growing interest in BTS vs. vague interest about why they are trending and globally popular. I'm afraid that you come across as the latter. It's your channel so of course react to whatever you want, but some of us will not be subscribing due to perceived disrespect and lack of appreciation for their music. Their lyrics are meaningful (exceptions being Butter & Dynamite which were made to cheer people up during the pandemic), and worthy of being paid attention to. Their choreography is amazing and their dance practice videos show even more. Their story is inspiring and their background and message have helped many people the world over. I may watch a 4th video to see if your approach changes, and I hope it does.

Kpop idol life is not easy. It takes courage, patience and strong will power to push themselves to achieve their dreams. Many gave up after few years of hard work. Like Kpop has been around for 4 generations. The young Chris Brown prob was inspired by the exactly same artist (MJ) as any young kid Koreans. He’s not the OG. The fact remains, US artists are mostly lazy AF, no dancing except for boring twerking, no production, countless swear words for lyrics (I’m looking at you WAP). Yet, US reactors still Measure Kpop by their own lifeless standards all the while trying to find some way to credit a US artist for kpop greatness. 🥱 These reactors were very fair about their opinions on the video/song/BTS, but US arrogance and ignorance in the music industry has blinded most Americans from global industry trends. Ffs the company that BTS built , HYBE, has just purchased half of the US music industry. Lmaooo. So yeah , Mr snicker snicker …the bag is hella thick. A lot thicker than your favs I guarantee it.

There is nothing LOWKEY about their dancing, singing or rapping; they are GLOBAL WORLD-CLASS SOUTH KOREAN KPOP SUPERSTARS who have been together for past 8+ years. Please DO NOT try to compare them to western artists because they’re not even on the same level as Kpop Artists especially BTS. Our guys have their own category. They mix english and their native language together so you can semi understand them plus majority of Kpop Artists can speak fluent ENGLISH. BTS members can speak decent amount of english but RM is the most fluent. *Also, Steve Aoki is japanese-American World Famous DJ, he works with tons of different artists and he even does his own music. This isn’t even the tip of the iceberg, their live concerts and performances are out of this world amazing, it would literally blow your mind. *Also, the only reason your friends are NOT understanding them is because they’re NOT fully paying attention what they are actually saying.* PLUS YOU DONT ALWAYS NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEYRE SAYING BECAUSE YOU CAN FEEL IT IN THE MUSIC THE MESSAGE THEY ARE TRYING TO CONVEY. *The members came from different backgrounds of Little to No money who did their own individual thing before becoming the biggest global kpop group on the planet...* RM (26) : He was underground rapper and songwriter of his own songs before being scouted as the first member and leader of BTS JIN (29) : The oldest, came from a no musical background who was an acting university student who was scouted getting off a bus. He had to work twice as hard to get to where he is now; he gained his musical background after tapping into it with help from the rest of the members. SUGA (28) : He was also legit underground rapper like RM, known as Gloss who was DISSed by others for making the right decision of leaving that scene because he wanted to officially become a songwriter and producer but didn’t expect to become worldly famous which was a bonus for him. J-HOPE (26) : Hip hop street / underground dancer for 10 years which is where he met up with RM & Suga; he found his passion for rapping after joining BTS with the help of RM & Suga during their trainee days. He also does sub-vocals. JIMIN (25) : Has previous dancing experience in modern contemporary / hiphop including studying taekwondo & Kendo even had a short training course in China on top of working at his grandmother’s Rice Cake Shop; started learning to sing and iimprove his dancing after joining BTS during their trainee days. V (25) : He came from background of farmers and studied saxophone for three years inluding singing lessons on top of doing photography and he got scouted by coincidence after going as support to a friend’s audition. Learned to dance and improve his vocals after joining BTS. JungKook (23) : He had dreams of being famous on top of having previous dancing experience, he was prodigy in almost everything; which is how he got into Taekwondo and became a black belt. He learned to sing after joining BTS during their trainee days. He never thought he would become the main vocalist of the group.

The dancing thing in general, only started when they are formed in 2010 before debuting in 2013. Although you got J-Hope as a former street dancer and Jimin as a former top student in contemporary dancing. This is K-pop and choreography is a big thing and required every title track, every debut, and every comeback. So BTS, in particular, you got indie artists especially the underground rappers such as RM and Suga already making music before they debut and actually included in a group as producers/writers/composers and ensured that they are not going to dance but they are lied to - THEY HAVE TO DANCE as a K-pop group. Lol! So yeah... The group is diverse and versatile, the members have different backgrounds - performing arts (singing, rapping, and dancing) and some are even already producers/writers/composers and also choreographing. They are just compiled together to form a very solid group.

@5:25 THE ANSWER: In one of their interviews (with Grammy Museum 2018), Suga explained that the way they make music is from the melody first but other aspects are involved simultaneously. They do that as a workshop involving many production team divisions (such as the dance, the theme, the costume, the visual, the MV, etc). And as added by JHope later, there are possibilities that the music is adjusted here and there as well as the other aspect along the process of finishing a song/MV. (JHope mentioned that they are getting older so it is hard for them to do some particular choreography, so they asked the production team to adjust the moves). I hope this answers your question. . If you want to watch it by yourself, here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pn3boKRtosimnZI [BTS GRAMMY Museum Interview 2018]. I watched your whole video and unfortunately, it was just more validation that you and your friends were being very disrespectful and racist. Strange to see, since it looks like at least two of them are people of color (POC). One would think POC would be more respectful and educated on the impact of racist comments. It is also notable to say that Mic Drop is not "different" or "outside the box of what BTS usually does"...BTS is a versatile group. BTS' foundation is HIP-HOP and inspired by traditional hip-hop (and NOT inspired by "Chris Brown" as your friend had commented in the video). Don't use BTS for clout cause it clearly shows you guys are not open-minded to BTS' mission and influence on the global community. It should also be said that if you have half the amount of dislikes as likes on a video OR a large percentage of negative comments...Then, maybe try self-reflecting on why that may be instead of playing the victim.
@parkjnine3 жыл бұрын
@Frozen Monster You should re-read your comment. You contradict yourself in every paragraph. By the way, POC are the most educated and empathetic on racism. POC are categories of people who are not classified as "White - non Hispanic". I never stated POC reactors in this video had to educate their audience on racism. I merely stated they made racist comments and should know better (since they themselves are POC and are educated on its impact). "Why not just ignore them instead of pointing fingers?" Viewers or armys will call out folks who are being disrespectful or racist. That's how the world works. That's how people learn from one another. I could also say, you could apply your comment towards me to yourself. Why not ignore my comment instead of pointing fingers? If you are going to insult someone's opinions or "how their mind works" (as you stated in your comment), maybe look more carefully at yourself and understand that your comment itself is prejudice in nature. But hey, I guess "your mind thinks that way, just because it happens a lot!"

Nice video by the way 💜 ps BTS do lots of genres and they have other songs that are HipHop that are way better then Mic Drop, this particular song is a diss track but they have other songs that are way brutal when it comes to talking about their haters. They were kinda placed in the group together because before BTS we’re gonna be a group full of battle rappers and basically the owner of the company that BTS are apart of changed the lineup, So there was only 2 original members from the original group left which was RM and SUGA and then Jhope who was a street dancer was added along with the members you see in the video. Only 3 of them were really original dancers Jhope, Jimin, and Jungkook all the other members had to basically learn how to dance.

Okay no hate to y'all but I just wanna remind SOME people who is a wannabe music critic with NO CREDENTIALS🙄 The 7 BTS members: RM & Suga was an underground rappers before they are bts. They are also producers, writers, lyricist whatever u call that. RM had a collab with wale. ALL OF THE BTS MEMBERS ARE SO TALENTED. THEY CAN DANCE & perform those difficult choreographies while singing live!😏 they don't lipsync. Jhope was an underground dancer and became the main dancer, rapper, producer, philantrophist after he joined bts. How about u guys? 😊 Jimin (composer, producer, vocalist) is originally a contemporary dancer, black belt taekwondo & kendo, can do hiphop or any type of dance you/us guys can only imagine. 😇 Jin (composer, producer, vocalist) was supposed to be an actor but he's too lit and handsome and he have an amazing voice that u could only wish.😚 Jungkook aka JK (main vocalist) is a very talented guy who can do annnything.. golden voice, great personality, handsome face, good in sports, games, video editing, composing songs and people who think so highly of themselves could never!😛 BTS are charitable as much as they are talented. These guys donated to a lot of causes like a million dollars to BLM (their fans the bts army matched that $1M donation in one day), bts also spoke in front of the UN, they are UNICEF ambassadors and more 😇 their concerts in the UK, US or worldwide are sold out winthin minutes including wembley stadium in london-- 90k seats sold out in just 90 minutes and according to live nation BTS concert tickets sells 500% faster than ariana and taylor. And oh their then small company now the biggest kpop agency in South Korea (thanks to bts) acquired 100% of scooter braun's ITHACA HOLDINGS the home of Justin Bieber, Ariana and many more. If u don't like bts songs, just be respectful. Respect people as you would like to be respected. Get to know them first before you say something NOT nice. I suggest you watch "This is BTS by XCELESTE" and "bts nobodies to legends 2019" these two videos educate people about bts. I wanna end this with the quote from SUGA (one of bts rappers) "YOU'LL LIKE BTS MUSIC IF YOU LISTEN WITHOUT PREJUDICE" Have a great day!

It is not worth reacting to something that you dislike because of visits, you will only receive bad attention. I can't believe at this point that they still have this kind of stigma and racism. It is horrible to see that there is Tao racism among racialized people. I want to add that they have already reacted to another Korean group, Black Pink and these comments were not present. I don't want to believe that their problem is specifically with BTS and their way of dressing or acting, I also saw a lot of very regrettable comments,A man can "do women's things or dress" and will remain a man, period. Kpop artist are just different period instead of bash y’all like most I want to educate. I have been a fan of Kpop since 2007. I am proud to say that I have been able to see BTS’S journey from debut to now. Understand most of us are upset that they are being compared to artists that are not even in the same genre of music. Most people don’t realize that in South Korea their artists are just trained differently. Most of them start training to be idols at very young ages. A lot of them are not lucky to see the same amount of success but the work very hard none the less. More specifically I want to correct the fact that they do not just take months to prepare for their comebacks and Mv’s most time we have to wait a year to a year in a half before anything is released that’s how serious they are about their music. BTS are so much more then what you see. They are very talented and work very hard. They also have a lot to do with the behind the scene work. They write and produce majority of the music themselves. If they don’t they are definitely involved with the process of what they put out. From their choreography to a number of other things. I am a proud ARMY that loves and welcome all new fans as it’s always nice to see a fresh perspective. I won’t tell you how to release your content. I only wish that going forward you would take the time to do som research it’s actually pretty sound advise as it will save you a lot of hate and as you can probably see Kpop fans go hard for their Idols. I didn’t write this to add anymore hate. I enjoyed the video and watched to the end. I just wish to educate you on the fact that our boys have worked their buts off for the success that they have and we hate anyone that would try to stomp all over or belittle their hard work. They have said themselves that they do get a-lot of their inspiration form western artist. But do not disrespect them in the since of crediting their success from another artist they themselves have said that they enjoy his music and would like to works with him but have never said he is the reason why they have made it to where they are today.

Anime villains lmaooo.. hella random. This speaks levels on how much knowledge that dude has of asian culture or international cultures in general. What about this MV makes you think of anime? Btw, anime = Japanese; BTS = KOREAN. I’m getting tired of people grouping all types of Asians together. Every country is vastly different with its own culture and history. Time to evolve from the ignorance.

Nice reaction, but to me mic drop is the a very radio friendly rap song for them. Still bangs though! React to introduction to bts by the channel Ida S.

If you like rap, you should check out Daechwita by Agust D (Suga of BTS), DDaeng, UGH, Outro: Tear, Cypher pt. 1, 2, 3, 4, Intro: Persona, Joke by RM

Dont you worry It always starts like this. Bts always wins over male fans with their live perfomance and raps. Show them Joke by RM. Daechwita by Suga.. MMa 2018 MMA 2019.. And soon all of them will have a bias. The guys who like dancing show them Bts at Billboard Music awards .

Well, I didnt see any disrespect at all? (Aside from the white shades dude who needs to use his mind before he speak) other than that the rest are pretty respectful and open minded. Also to answer the guy on the upper right if they started dancing first before making music. Well, they have diff backgrounds before they joined the team. 2 are underground rappers and producers, another one is a well known street dancer, the other is a top contemporary dance student, a student in theater acting, a shy kid in his 13/14 of age and a chill kid who accidentally was recruited- 😂 they also came from different parts of South Korea, so its amazing how this 7 kids comes all together.

I can see that toxic masculinity and stereotypes obviously played a role in their perspective of bts, not ever Asian is chinese, that is a stereotype. Bts members have said that everyone should listen to bts without prejudice. Music should be judged off of race, it should be listened to with an open mind. It is tiring to see reactors react to bts just for views and they call bts girls, Chinese, etc. This comment is just background on why people are saying what they are saying in the comments. The comments are critic not hate. It’s okay to not like bts but at least be respectful. Bts is constantly shattering stereotypes that are being said till this day.
@harshita81313 жыл бұрын
You can be respectful atleast ...like you're getting views by their content ....how you even dare to say Steve ayoki is saving them (for armies 5:03) .

In a nutshell, as a teen, you audition to become a "trainee" under a company. If you make it, you train for several years (dance, vocals, diction, etc.) in the hopes of eventually debuting in a group, or solo. The K-pop Industry is insanely competitive. These boys came from humble backgrounds, made it into a small, underdog company, and worked tirelessly to get where they are today. They predominantly write their lyrics, produce their songs, etc. Blind reactions are fun of course, but respect is so important to army because we have watched them struggle very hard and get undeserving hate for a long long time. If you're looking to learn more about them, I recommend the "intro to BTS" videos. No hard feelings, trying to add some context.

If people comment to react to WHO IS BTS? THE SEVEN MEMBERS pls don’t do it the video is so old some clips may be mis leading and the way they describe some of the members can get many people upset I used that video to get into them a few years ago and the video was helpful but when people react to it NOW it’s not a good video to get into bts in 2021 pls find a new video if you do like this style😁 also MANY (ALMOST ALL) kpop MVs have subtitles and you can read them it’s the CC button 😁😁

They were trained for 2-3 years singing while dancing.. 2 of them were dancers, 2 were underground rappers, 1 majored in acting, the other 2 are talented. They're all strangers to each other when they formed this group
@eretria1273 жыл бұрын
Hey, if you guys like this type of music more then I recommend: cypher, dope, on( kinetic manifesto), fire, UGH!, (maybe Idol), not today, agust d (by agust d), danger, daechwita(by agust d), joke(RM), also a fun song is chicken noodle soup by J-hope and Becky G, also this is from another group called Stray Kids: God's menu

2 were underground rappers when the were very young. Only 2 of them were dancers before they started. They started with a focus on hip hop and then moved into other styles. They have been out as a group since 2013. They have to practice hard on the dance 10 - 12 hours so they can dance and sing or rap at the same time. They are very hard working.

The vibes I’m getting from this channel is the typical ‘only reacting to bts for clout’ if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. No one is forcing you to like them, and you keeps saying g you guys are showing your honest and genuine reactions…..then why keep watching them if you don’t enjoy it?????
@KrustyVlogs3 жыл бұрын
How am I reacting to them for clout, if I was reacting for clout I would do research about them so I could be perfect and y’all would love me, what we stand for is what the real world is. Unfortunately you must not know stereotypes, cause y’all do that to us anyways. It’s sad that you’re assuming instead of asking. But you knew I’d comment
@chimminnnie10133 жыл бұрын
@@KrustyVlogs why are you saying acting upon these stereotypes are okay??? Just because they’re real doesn’t mean ppl should still enforce them. And also, you don’t have to be fake and praise bts to get clout from bts army, simply making your reaction videos can get you thousands of views…. It doesn’t matter if you are nice or not, bts name in anything is going to get attention. That’s why I said if you don’t like them, don’t react to them. But I mean it’s your channel so you’re going to do whatever you want, I would just be careful about some of the things your friends say, there will be me ppl than me upset about it. And I’m all for genuine reactions and I know you are being genuine and honest, but also some of the comments being made in the video don’t come off as honest, they come off ass rude.

Also I’d just like to point out, a lot of what I’m saying is referring to your friends comments, not yours.

They can react to the rap line if they're more into that like Ugh live, Outro:tear live, August D deachwita, August D, Jhope Airplane, RM:Persona, joke, Ddaeng live, cypher 1, 2, 3 &4. Then they can react to BTS:ON kinetic Manifesto, Black Swan. BTS have soo many songs of soo many different genres. Even if you don't like them, you'll find at least one or two of their songs that'll fit your style.
