1:31:24 if you're confused about what jin got rm he got him merch made out of the character jin designed himself. they each have a character they designed themselves and altogether they're called BT21! they have a series showing how they designed them and came up with the ideas, their backstories etc. jin's is rj an alpaca, namjoon = koya a koala, yoongi = shooky a cooky, jimin = chimmy a puppy wearing a hoodie, jungkook = cooky a rabbit, taehyung = tata an alien heart (ofc he would go the extra mile hahaha). there's an animated series with those characters too

tattoos are definitely not illegal 😭 they are still taboo/ kinda controversial in korea and they are covered when on national tv and broadcasts. when jk first got tattoos he always had them covered or blurred but recently he has been a lot more open and free with sharing them and we even finally got hd pictures of his tattoos 💜

The B in BTS stands for Bangtan which means Bulletproof, and they’ll usually say Bangtan when referring to BTS as a whole (bc it’s shorter than saying the full Korean name). So Jin’s keyword was really to pose as BTS and he did the BTS hand pose (which is basically just a gun)

Btw if you were confused, Jin gifted Namjoon with RJ merchandise (the BT21 character he designed) so they originally said that it's almost the same as Suga's idea but Jin also included a KORE (whale) keychain that he drew and made himself during their Japan promotions and it was pretty sweet that he gifted something handmade 😊

tattoes aren't illegal in Korea, they are quite common actually, but they are not allowed *on television broadcasting* and that's why they often cover them (other really basic dumb stuff isn't allowed in Korean TV either, like knives, they're blurred out of dramas) they are wearing sleeves because these shirts are UV protection, Koreans and idols especially are obsessed with not burning their skin on the sun, which is part of the reason why they have so much good skin, so idols often wear these UV shirts, even if they are not on water and just traveling (suga wore them a lot on bon voyage 3 in Malta)

Hobi's gift to Jimin was so sweet and precious. They all live apart now but they were roommates the entire time they were in the group even when everyone else had their own rooms so I imagine Hobi listened to Jimin labor over his song all the time. Jimin is so affectionate and doting and people say that Hobi is Jimin's Jimin because he really dotes on him too. It's just such a thoughtful gift to turn his single into a physical album and then to put a congratulatory note and fill it with their pictures too?? Excuse me while I cry!

Here in the US, if you are ever close to the Buffalo area or Niagara Falls, check out the Whirlpool Jet boats on Niagara River (there are two locations, one on the US side and another on the Canadian side) and they offer these same rides and it is AMAZING!!! Having tattoos are not illegal just frowned at and on TV or broadcasts they tend to cover up or blur them out. Tattoo artists need to have medical licensing or like medical cert so in that sense could be illegal for the artist not being licensed.

LOVED this episode, one of my favs. :) maybe you could consider reacting to going seventeen, if you find the time - it's similar to run bts, but with the group seventeen. there are 13 of them, so it seems a little bit intimidating at first, but i promise you, they are hilarious, one of the funniest groups out there alongside bts and you would love them :) for starters i recommend the episodes "don't lie #1" (mafia game with some twists), "best friends" or "kickball". they also have different kinds of concepts: horror, sports, game shows, trips, brain games, ....
