Subjectively, Messi could be considered better by many. Objectively (numbers, records, completleness), Ronaldo beats everyone in history. He dominates all aspects of the game. Messi won the world cup, but that's a collective achievement and Di Maria and others arguably had more merit than Messi. Messi is fantastic, but was always in the comfort of Barcelona, with fantastic players around him who made his life better. His performance was very different in PSG. Ronaldo was great in Sporting ,Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and now in Al Nassr. And still better than almost everyone in the world, and he's 39. Does he really need to prove anything? He doesn't care, he said yeasterday that he knows the end is near and now he's just enjoying football the most he can.
