@@dicodec I love them bros! Like your first cover you capture the style of MTH, and I'm particulary impressed by the vocals, as they are very close the bands original singers. I imagine with my limited knowledge of music making that you can always tune a guitarr to sound close to identical to another bands guitarist, but a voice will "always" be what it is? It's great to see you two together again btw, and it being a classical MTH/Dicodec reaction video is just the icing on the cake! 😊

We, Japanese, have absolutely no idea what the lyrics are at this point. In the beginning of this music video, it says "Turn the CC on when the lyrics are revealed in the middle of September, after the announcement of the result of the This-is-what-we-think-we-hear competition". Maximum the Ryokun has even held a competition and had their fans guess the lyrics, so no one knows the lyrics yet. However, there's one part we know the rilycis for sure at 08:30. Nao sings "Please do not drop it again because it hurts everyone". That definitely refers to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, considering that the date this video was posted was August 6, the day the U.S. military dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

lmao, I just heard their new song today and didn't know that they weren't releasing lyrics at the time this released. American frustration peanuts. Please cheese me. I will rub my knuckles on your temples. At first I thought the subtitle track was just interpreting the words incorrectly to English from a Japanese song, but then all the imagery in the video was actually lining up with the weird lyrics they were saying. I think they just trolled America into rocking out to a (mostly) nonsensical reverse 'broken english' singalong, knowing Americans would have no idea.. I love MTH, haha 🤟

OK so this is a unique idea if I understand it correctly. They are running a competition to guess the lyrics so the actual lyrics in this arent real. Which blends into the concept of Westerners getting used to not understanding the lyrics anyway so you just concentrate on the sounds. So if the words are scrambled it really doesnt make any difference. I still love it. Have I read that correctly. Does it mean they will release another video with correct lyrics or will they only be added to the subtiltes. So many questions with a big smile on my face. Only MTH would do this.

How much American symbolism did you catch in this one video? I noticed, when the drummer is singing in what looks like a futuristic city, there are so many signs of American culture. It looks like American Idol, we see the Statue of Liberty, in the backdrop, there's a big X that is straight out of America's Got Talent. Don't know what it all means, but they remain bonkers and deliver more of the great material we've come to love.

This song is the collective thoughts of Japanese people and what they think of American. Not just the band. The lyrics aren't just gibberish, it's metaphorical, or like a "dis track" Japanese people don't directly say what they think, they are extremely indirect. Hierarchy and order. They disguise everything under another question or statements so they aren't reprimanded. There is a Japanese saying: "the nail that sticks out is struck" So none wants to stick out and flat out ask the "wtf america?!" So they invent a way to get their unresolved frustrations and questions out. Their culture is very strange and extreme, but the same can be said about America (through the eyes of a Japanese person)
