The sky that we always see not always going to shine bright as we hope but in this harsh situation like this, there could be a silver lining, we could see there is still hope in humanity as we can see people of different ethnic and religion united together to heal each other's pain 😊 Guys, when you think you two cannot do anything about our flood situation, you already are helping a lot by raising awareness to the whole world. In the end we are all one big family, have a nice and safe day! 👍🏼🇲🇾😊 Thanks once again for reacting to my suggestion!

To your enquiry; Yes, there are, in fact, multi-purpose halls and many temporary shelters for the flood victims to take refuge during and after the flood. I believe this video was taken when the flood water has subsided leaving mud behind and, the occupants had to return to their homes to face the daunting task of cleaning up. The aftermath was devastating just to look at as you can see. But, we have lots of volunteers from all walks of life, from different states from as far as the north and the east coast who came with their boats, 4X4s, lorries, while others brought food, clothes, daily essentials and etc. Not to mention, the NGOs too. Help from all over the country just kept on coming. And that is the true spirit of Malaysians really, in times of crisis such as this. My heart goes out to the victims. 😍

Those are Malaysian people & their homes are affected by the flash flood. People acted faster than the government, by joining hands together to help those affected. They send essential items & food to them & help with the cleaning work. Some even send toys for the children to play. Yes, Miles… we too believe that everything happened for a reason. 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾

Normally each district has a disaster committee, and they have a list of various halls whether in schools, community centres as designated evacuation centers in cases such as floods or other natural disasters. But i'm not from the KL-Selangor area, so I'm not sure if the govt agencies could cope with the extent of this latest flood

There were shelters at the local Multi Purpose halls usually as floods occurs on a yearly basis especially in East coast of Malaysia..

When you mentioned about finding the best out of a difficult situation, i really want you to react to how Malaysians entertain themselves in the midst of the flood but most of them are captioned/spoken in Malay 😪 there are compilations of people taking out boats, floats etc to play as if it was a huge waterpark. 😂

Some of them staying in schools., Mosques, camping that arent affected, in Malaysia we already have protection place where malaysian can run into. I heard also some Malaysians allow the victim staying in their home without even see what their race is.

The Dec flooding effected few districts in the state of Selangor. The video you reviewed was in location further inland from the sea. The local government set up temporary shelter in some places for the people to seek refuge. In places near the sea, the water risen as high as rooftop of single storey terrace houses. We've seen quite a number of death as some people were trapped in rising water or washed away. On the day itself, hundreds of people were stranded in various places including highways as the routes were cut off due to floodings.

This doesnt show the full devastation. There were houses where the mud was 11 ft tall. Taller than a single storey house and cars fully buried under mud.
