@LoockiiluАй бұрын
@@KarineLajoie-ne9xp but in an interview she said both her parents are nigerian..... which one is the truth? Yes she was born in SA but the documents are illegal, if her parents had legal documentation then there wouldn't be any problem with her participating. The issue is that there were fraudulent activities that surrounded this girl and South africa has been facing this for years and guess who participate in these acts... foreigners(not all). It has been an ongoing thing that South Africa has been trying to fix about the country. If SA were to not allow Nigerians in to the country, it would be called Xenophobic but all the countries that have done so are not xenophobic...makes me wonder why. Nigeria has beautiful people its just the bad ones that have seem to create this bad image for all and thats not fair

@@MGold00 where is this imaginary victim and her children? How come nobody has come out to say they are the victim, no family , friends or co workers to back up this claim and whose identity has she been living with for the past 20+ years? No bank account no insurance? Make it make sense.
@Nyameka-j7zАй бұрын
@mayanaija they have come out... just do your own research. We cannot spoon feed you on everything yall insert yourselves in without facts. We don't support lawlessness here in our country. You clearly don't have the whole story. We have an ongoing case with police investigating her and her parents. All their IDs & passports were cancelled because they were all attained fraudulently. All involved parties are being dealt with. Stop spreading lies....shame on you
@trevonkahlisАй бұрын
There is a very serious side of this.This was a MASSIVE story in the whole of Africa in 2024. There were multiple events that took place and the Girl Chidimma Adetshina eventually had her citizenship revoked by Minister Leon Schreiber
@JuicyJLeeАй бұрын
The whole country knew it was bullshit ..we all wanted action taken.
@mayanaijaАй бұрын
Her citizenship is not revoked. Your home affairs already announced on their website that from their investigation Chidimma is a citizen by naturalization. You should know by now that there are 3 ways to acquire the SA citizenship. If you've lived in SA for up to 5 years you can apply for citizenship regardless of if your parents are SA or not. You guys always want to spread misinformation on the internet about Nigerians.
@Nyameka-j7zАй бұрын
It was changed in 2010 because a similar thing was happening from Zim. Being born here does not make 1 a citizen unless 1 of parents is south african or have gone via the legal route of applying for citizenship. Either was done in this situation...infact she doubled down on the lies.
@RebaonaMosadi-mz3gzАй бұрын
@mayanaija I find it ironic that you speak about misinformation being spread only to do the same yourself. Our home affairs DID NOT declare her a citizen by naturalization. In fact they were more than lenient in requesting she come and provide a defence for why her citizenship and that of her mother and son etc (which was fraudulently obtained btw) shouldn't be revoked. Nobody showed up, she went to Nigeria and that's when they revoked
@sibulelesabaАй бұрын
Nigerians lie without remorse. SHE IS NOT SA'n, she knows and other Nigerians know. It's just a matter of being raised right and having morals which sadly lacks for our Nigerian brothers and sisters and that only fuels the hate between the 2 countries. Her mother stole someones identity to be able to live in SA, that means there's a SAn woman out there with no ID which means they can't get the benefits of being SAn,no grants,no health care benefits,no job and that goes for her children also.... Nigerians know that she stole someones Identity and life but they're out here acting victims and protecting her,infact i have no problem with them protecting her but for them to now say we're xenophobic is downright vile and evil when you know she was caught with a stolen identity..

4:51 Xenophobia has been a problem in SA for a long time. Of course, it rises and falls with time but in the late 2000's through to the late 2010s I remember seeing people, mainly Zimbabwens and Nigerians being burned alive by civilians under the theme of 'taking our business markets back' due to the boom in foreigners setting up successful businessess and hustles in the country.
@FunnyJellyfish-rt7ywАй бұрын
Dont forget the kidnapping and rape crime you nigerians were committing in south africa and dont use xenophobia as a way to justify your behavior and acts of kidnapping and rape that you were doing in our country and protecting our country is not xenophobia that is just word that yall use to justify your actions and not take accountability for the wrong doings you were doing in not only south africa but many other african countries what you need to do is apologize to south africans
@mbusomhlongo579Ай бұрын
Xenophobia has never been a problem in South Africa. South Africans were fixing their country, some of the problems they try to fix is the issue of illegal immigrants. When South Africans fix their problems they're called xenophobic. When other countries tackle the same issue of illegal immigrants they're not called xenophobic.
