The cube is a British TV game show, it’s a really cool show & Wes was actually right, this wasn’t the real studio where they made the tv show it’s actually a place in Manchester which also has a bar and restaurant and people go and play the cube

I imagine the Sidemen company somehow bought JJ’s house or lent him the money to do so. He then pays the Sidemen the money back. This probably has tax advantages and allows JJ to borrow against his stake in the Sidemen. It’s not unusual for private companies and their directors to have such arrangements.

In the show, you have 9 lives across all games to beat minigames which become progressively more difficult. The game is intentionally made really difficult. The studio show had a bigger cube which was more solid rather than the wobbly plastic used in this place, but they instead filmed in a bar which happens to have a Cube game. The studio did not have a new cube for each game, but one cube for every game.

Sidemen don't pay people on these videos, the only people who get paid on these vids are the random people. All their friend's do the vids just cause their friends, Most expensive video they have done is the fall guys and the trailer hitting around 30k all the reward they say just for views. Exception is the buy stuff videos but that's sponsored money.
