Jin not abusing his power of being the oldest isnt because RM is the leader, but because the members and him are very close. His reasoning is there's no point in trying to deem himself as better when they're all like brothers and power can set a division between that, but despite all that, Jin is still the eldest and it's just korean mannerism for the younger members to treat him with respect.

To clear few things about Jin part, when Jin first joined Bighit he only joined with the intention of becoming an actor since he was a theater major student but was persuaded to join bts, he had no experience in singing or dancing at all that's why he felt so behind compared to the other members so he worked extra hard to catch up to the other members (Their vocal trainer said that Jin was her best student his voice rather than improving it completely transformed) he also helped produce few of BTS's songs, Jin is a hard worker but never let it show or brag about it, when they're done practicing he stays behind to keep practicing, he was seen practicing in his hotel room, sometimes stay awake past 3am practicing (he once said that your efforts are yours to know) this man is very dedicated and a hard worker and the deserves that recognition ............................................... this is just to give the right introdution he deserves

an idol is basically someone that’s doing kpop, rappers in korea that aren’t in groups don’t consider themselves kpop because they only do rap and they’re mostly underground so basically idol rappers get looked down upon for abandoning the hip hop scene, saying because they wear makeup they’re not real rappers and all that. it’s ridiculous really also can y’all watch bts from nobodies to legend part 1&2?

BTS has tons of freedom about their music. Since even before debut until now, they have release tons of covers, free self composed songs at their official soundclouds and all are actually really high quality. And they mentioned during grammy museum interview that they compete with each members and also their company producers who can come out with best beats, melody, concept, etc. And BTS is also known for their team chemistry. They complete with each other. They treat each other like family.

I was shook when I learned this but from the very start, BTS received hate (for no reason). Their name is "Bangtan Sonyeondan" ("Bulletproof Boyscouts") and that's because they were formed to shield people from prejudice, stereotypes, and repressions to protect their values and music. However, people laughed at their name and made fun of them even from the beginning. We usually just know them as "BTS" though.

Actually there are some information in the video needs to update tho 1. RM's studio now is called Rkive 2. On October 23, 2018, RM released a new mixtape called "mono" 3. Everyone in BTS can speak Japanese 4. The reason why Jin is pulling hearts from random places is that it's a special event that he did during their WINGS tour, it's not that he always does that lol 5. Besides Awake, there's another Jin's solo song called Epiphany in LY Answer album (the MV is connected to the storyline too) 6. Suga also has a song called So Far Away with Suran in his mixtape "Agust D" 7. J-Hope is a producer too 8. Sope-me is rare to see now😭 9. Jimin didn't make the cakes actually, he just bought them from the store lol 10. V dropped another song that he made by himself on Soundcloud, called "Scenery", Jimin dropped a self-made song called "Promise" and Jin dropped self-made song called "Tonight" 11. Sorry, I read some of these comments and I think I need to 'splain some stuff. In Korea, Kpop is called Idol Music and in the past it has been looked down upon. You see, Kpop is not really a genre of music, but a separate industry. It comprises beauty, fashion, music and dance -- and performers are called idols because they are supposed to represent all aspects. This is why BTS caught so much flak in the beginning. First, RM and Suga were leaving 'real' music for idol music. Very few idol groups produce or even have a say in their own music, but are 'handed' songs to do by their entertainment companies. BTS is an exception to this. Second, BTS didn't appear like any idol group ever. (Korean beauty standards are pretty strict, which is why so many Kpop groups have a 'generic' quality to western eyes.) Third, a kpop hip hop group? Never been done. (Yes, some idol groups have performed hip hop numbers... an idol group debuting as a hip hop group? No one knew how to take it. They were raw and gritty compared to the polished idol groups of the time. So, BTS had a hard time in the beginning.

I've been a fan of KPOP since I was in elementary school (I'm 21 now) but BTS is really different from the others. Words are understatement to describe what BTS is but I can say that BTS is definitely a breath of fresh air not just in KPOP but also to the whole music industry.

They all also come from really humble beginnings. Something we love about them is how they have been able to remain humble even though they are achieving all these things and so successful. They don’t come from a well known company which is why they used to be cut from Korean shows (which they just recently decided to start posting 6 years later). It’s amazing and a whole different relationship that BTS and ARMYS have together. Also they just renewed their contract with the company so we have 7 more years with BTS💜 and I’ll be here for all till the end
