Used/using on '13 K3500, 6.0, cab chassis, worked awesome and truck has come to life more than expected. Given the way truck is used mpg is noticeably better. Didn't mess with tranny settings. Have S&B CAI and true 3" dual exhaust. Not a TD but I love it, as close to "old school" push rod power, performance and yes ........SOUND!

Bought this for my 16 Silverado tried throttle response settings but did not notice any difference on each one tried many different tunes it doesn’t seem to be any different only tune I felt the difference on was the v4 off no clue if I waisted money on this 😢

@@fakenotreal5074 Never had any problems with the battery or starting Just acted funny once and then I 2 codes Left and right bank to lean No problem since Or so far

i tried several changes did nothing ,, it needs a preset option for those who don't want to set and try mode last programmer already came pre installed with sport and comp mode ( was another vehicle with big block v8 ) but i think this one would work if some one would build a preset option for better performance ( i would recommend unless that happens just buy a better programmer with more options

What if you have a cold air intake and an after market high flow exhaust? Will this tuner recognize those changes in the tune?

The tune file itself isn't going to recognize physical changes to the truck. Since both of those upgrades are mechanical all that will happen is you have a cooler intake air temp allowing for more fuel to be pushed and a less restrictive exhaust allowing for a more volumetric efficient engine. It will pick up on the lower intake air temp and allow more fuel to be injected making more power.

Why don't you mention removing fuses ? Trying to figure out which fuses to remove is a pain in the ass. Google search Chat gpt KZbin searches just run you around in circles for ever

I believe he stayed that they removed some fuses to shut off something so they could hook it up to their dyno machine for testing. There should be no reason to remove any fuses for normal tuning use.

@@HuggyBearHikes I believe the directions say to pull several fuses. Either way I didn't have any problems with my transmission before using the tuner.

@@XRKII Soooo, you're admitting that it probably fucked up my transmission ? There shouldn't be a wrong way. If it's not safe for anyone to use...it shouldn't be on the market.

@@HuggyBearHikes I just adjusted it up one setting. I was a bit disappointed right off the bat because the tuner basically just has a few settings and they are more or less pre-set and you just choose from one of the settings. I put it back to the stock settings immediately after it slipped after applying a tune. I did try again later but, put it back to stock settings again when it didn't change anything. I've watched the transmission temperature like a hawk since it first shuddered and it hasn't overheated or gotten anywhere near hot. It runs about 70 degrees above the air temperature. The transmission fluid was and is a good color and I exchanged it 2 different times since the problem started. No change or improvement from that either.
