That is one huge moose horn! It was so cold while we were up in maine, you are lucky to have been able to swim, except the blood suckers...ohhhsh! The purple blue flowers that are prevalent up in that area through Canada are just so beautiful. They are some of my favorite ♡ beautiful video. Always love watching them.

great video for us to watch on Veteran's Day! great shots of the fireworks/ lots of good stuff in here, thanks for all the details and info about the island and everything else... we used to swim with our shoes on in Canada, freshwater is nice but leeches/ yuck. ive gotten some that went unnoticed, really gross and a pain to remove from between your toes!! i dont know why but seems like a lot of Maine lakes are pretty shallow i ve noticed that on canoes etc.. awesome video thanks for taking us with you

Americas Parks Good morning ! If ever you come on a vacation around Montréal it would be a pleasure receiving you for a lunch and a good beer 🍺 or wine 🍷 . We are in Boisbriand it’s about a half hour drive north of Montréal...they call this region " lower Laurentien" and we are about 1 1\2 h south from the famous Mount Tremblant . This summer we had a very nice visit from our KZbinr friends Karen and Laurie from " Easy Hikes & Great Landscapes -Walk Hike & Discover the World " they live in Australia they were doing a great trip of 6 weeks which you can see on their great channel and I do recommend taking a look . Have a nice Sunday 🌞 kzbin.info/door/uTFhS1jRhGd2ATggy5t09A

Great video as always Randy :) I was wondering if you plan your 4th of July celebrations with the National parks in mind? Seems like you obviously do :) If that is the case, what factors in to where you go? Is it just a place you haven't been or is it centered around festivities, both? Just curious. Much love to you and the family
@AmericasParks5 жыл бұрын
Hey Jymn, great question! Actually, I try to avoid traveling on the 4th due to the excessive crowds. lol! In this case the week we went to Maine was the only week that would work for both of us. So we did Acadia earlier (thinking it would be more crowded) and then this remote Park on the 4th. Besides the short trip to the "Island" the rest of this day seen in the video was put together as we went on the suggestions from the locals. All the best!

Lots of fun to watch! Maine sure looks incredible. Another park in the books. Looking forward to seeing some of that NM footage soon. I just booked a winter trip to Lone Pine Ca to see Manzanar NHS and California's newest designated BLM site, Alabama Hills National scenic area, the site of hundreds of movies. Also plan on hitting the west side of Death Valley for some water fall hiking if all goes as planned. You know me man, you cant keep a National Park explorer at home too long! Your clip was great as July 4th has always been a favorite day of mine. Saw you took another swim as well!
@AmericasParks5 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert! Always a pleasure to read your kind and insightful comments. Sounds like you have a great trip lined-up! Would love to hit some of those sites! Look forward to your upcoming videos and yes, know the feeling all too well. Need to get out!!!
