This was a fascinating critique. I watch each month and this is one of the best. A book that speaks to the social gaps that exist today. A lot of people feel lonely even with plenty of company. Or have more money to spend than meaningful relationships. Easy to see why it’s a bestseller. Thanks! 🎖️✅

I’ve noticed people feel very comfortable with me as well. I’ve had strangers tell me some very deep and painful things. I appreciate that they trusted me but I was not interested in sharing much depth about myself. I care about people but I have strong beliefs relating to privacy. I really want to read this it sounds interesting and also random. Thanks for this share. 💙

Ha! I stumbled across this book in my library and it was a fascinating read. The whole question of how we value people, time, and work. It was a bit surprising what people ask Shoji to do-nothing with them, but in thinking about it I could sometimes use a do-nothing person to accompany me someplace new or maybe to a movie. Quick read, too.

I just finished the book yesterday April 10th and it was an experience. Spoilers I find it weird how he was comfortable listening to a man confess to murder but listening to people talking about their goals and ambitions pissed him off enough to walk out. He's in this weird middle ground where he doesn't seem to have a personality, but then things like that tick him off.

If you’re going to have a book club queen, you should at least reply to some of the people supporting you in the comments. Otherwise, what’s the point?
@jaeshasway7 ай бұрын
True, otherwise it’s just book recommendations or suggestions. A book club suggests that there’s a back and forth discussion.

😎 I mean, she wanted to be a *Raging Music Artist Fire in Heaven Queen* 🫡, and personally, *I see her as Beyonce's ONLY credible rival* , *But the wind blows here and the wind blows there* , so Book club like Oprah it is, not her 1st, 2nd or even 3rd choice, so I understand the Lack of Enthusiasm. *Bro she's pissed* 😂😂

Reply to what? You have read the book first then at the end of the month talk about it.

@@dr.kawasaki7380😂😂 I get your point and agree; I enjoyed this channel until your comment. She isn't really passionate about books or having a book club, it's just another entrepreneurial venture for her. However folks like myself and other people here really love to read.
