Produced by the man who made the "Cheiron-sound"... The master himself Dagge Volle a.k.a Denniz Pop. The man who let guys and talents like Max Martin, E-type, Rami, Jörgen Elofsson, Andreas Carlsson and many more to work in the studio with him and each other and build the unique Swedish musicexport. Sad Denniz passed away so early. Unique talent and one of a kind.

@@bbeightynine Of course you can differ, it's about my opinion and not a fact. I like both songs but to me, Sing Hallelujah is stronger. But when it comes to music, what you like also has to do with feelings and memories connected to the song, not only the song itself.

True story. Dr Alban was a DJ and had a club in stockholm. A dude on drugs showed up at 2am on a friday morning and was denied to enter the club. He took out a knife and stabbed the guard (once on the left side and twice in the chest). The dude ran from alphabet street to kings street and then was arrested. Dr Alban made this song about it, he was very against drugs. The guard died. Dr Alban also mentions his friend and producer Dag "Dagge" Volle (aka. Denniz Pop) in this song (7:00). Denniz Pop also produced songs for Backstreet Boys, Robyn, Ace of Base, E-type and Britney Spears. Denniz pop created Max Martin who later produced songs for Coldplay, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Bon Jovi, Backstreet Boys, A-ha, NSYNC, Usher, Pink, Katy Perry, Pitbull, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran.

Song suggestions incoming.. Promoe - Svennebanan Rednex - Cotton Eyed Joe Marie Fredriksson - Sparvöga Roxette - It must have been love Eagle-Eye Cherry - Save tonight You would probably love Svennebanan, since it's a spoof about Swedishness and it's a rap song over an overly cheesy trance melody, probably made as a parody of what average Swedes clubbed to at that time, but it also hit hard in the clubs for that reason. So swedes partied to a track, which kind of made fun of the people partying to that kind of tracks.. 😂

As performed in Johannesburg in an almost completely empty stadium. (Extrapolation 15 000 seats. 15 in the audience). A true train wreck caused by a horribly managed cultural exchange between Sweden and South Africa. I like the song! It is a bit corny, but it introduced Jamaican dancehall to Sweden in a gentle way. PS. He really is a Dr.

Hmm I’m born in the 70’s and it used to be a lot of drugs back then in schools, kids smoking hasch and sniffing glue. I guess it was a deliberate approach to go hard for educating young people on why to stay away from drugs and the idea behind it is that “light” drugs is the gateway to heavier stuff. Some could of course argue about that. Nowadays there is a LOT of drugs going on among young pepole and coke, weed and internet drugs are not only for druggies anymore. It’s just sad.

There are actually quite alot of drug liberal people in Sweden. The party scene is full of them. People just don't like to talk about it to others because of the stigma around it. Gothenburg is even known as the amphetamine capital of Europe. And when it comes to Kaya, you can smell it all over Gothenburg during summertime. In every park there are people smoking. I would absolutely vote for legalisation, and i don't even smoke anymore. It's just a whole lot better if we can get taxes from it instead of funding gang violence.

Loved this song when it camed n still do. I dont know if i mentioned or if you covered or heard a melancoli song called Ett rum på sabbatsberg by john holm. Its not a banger chart list i think but emtional when or if you sit by a loved one thats waiting to pass over to the other side. John who wrote it i think he was working at paliative care and saw them past and hold them company time to time so its about him watching them go in that moment. Otherwise i usually doesnt like his songs but this one ...is deep and i can feel the farewell and see them walk into the light! And the music story telling and strange. Voice are set emotional for me. If you do cover it, pick the original release from that time it was made.

Is this his biggest track? Sounds a little amateurish. Song structure feels so random, too much repetition, and he could have tried to match his vocal tone to the beat a little at least. He's talk-rapping in a bright voice over much lower beat melody. It lacks a lot of elements and polish. The bassline is cool though.
