Time to revisit weeping willows my man. Blue and alone hits a special note with many swedes, because it was the intro song for an absolute belter of a series called Pistvakt. You know what, you should react to the intro as well!

Deras låt Square Hammer från 2016 blev en stor hit och kom även in på de amerikanska listorna. Min rekommendation är alltså att lyssna på Ghost - Square Hammer

I think this is one of the best swedish songs ever, period! :) Almost got a tiny bit frustrated from when you paused cause once it's on I just want to listen to it fully through. But hey, you do what you got to do :) As many have said, "Blue and Alone" is an awesome song from the band. Another tip is the song Highland by One More Time

"Apache" (wich included four of the guys in Weeping Willows) played with singer Stefan Sundström between around 1989 and 1995 and they released a handful of albums that were NOT covers. Just wanted to correct you on that. I think you should listen to their song "Amors Pilar" wich is really good. Next Weeping song I think should be "Blue and Alone", "Eternal Flames" or "True To you".

Their singer Magnus Carlson has released some solo records in Swedish, especially the first wo are really good. On the first, "Allt Är Bara Du, Du, Du" he had guest musicians such as Thåström, Håkan Hellström, Mick Jones from The Clash and members from The Soundtrack Of Our Lives. Check out "Det Värsta Av Allt"" and "Genom Natten" from that record, On his second solo album "Ett Kungarike För En Kram" he had the Swedish indie pop band Eggstone as a backing band. Most famous from that is "Det värsta av allt", a Swedish cover of "Beggin" by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons" (he has later also record that cover in english on his "A Nordic Soul").

Blue and alone blev en klassiker genom att den användes som signaturmelodi till komediserien Pistvakt, så välj den! Annars har Weeping Willows tyvärr inga fler klassiker. En klassiker med Magnus Carlson som soloartist är Elin. Då sjunger han på svenska. Den kan du också reagera på. Han har haft framgångar med covers/översättningar också men original är ju roligare på den här kanalen.

I would love to see what an actual american thinks about Swedish country in the form of Bourbon Boys. Their song Hillbilly Heart is on KZbin, but Taxman is a much better song. The same band also does metal in Swedish under the name Raubtier. From them I would suggest Sveriges Elit or Världsherravälde, which both have videos on KZbin. I also feel you have been missing out on Günther and Doctor Bombay, two artists from the late 90s/early 00s which were quite popular back in the day. Günther has actually even made a comeback recently. For songs, I would suggest their first hits, Ding Dong Song and Calcutta (Taxi Taxi Taxi).

Du kan även kolla Mangus Karlssona ( sångarens ) solo projekt: Jag ber dig, var en hitt sen har han gjort Covers som har blivit ännu större än den. Eller så kan du kolla upp Trummisens gamla band Commando M.Pigg, de hade några låtar som blev lita halv kända under 80 talet, exempelvis: En sån människa eller Mot Stjärnorna.
