I am a Japanese who lives in the United States. Thank you for sharing your interesting stories. My son is currently in 11th grade, which is equivalent to the second year of high school in Japan. This is a time when Japanese high school students usually hang out with their friends and enjoy their youth. However, my son only goes to school and does homework every day, and doesn't hang out with his friends outside of school although he has some friends. There aren't many extracurricular activities available, and most sports teams require you to have joined the team when you were young, so he isn't part of any sports teams. I don't want him to just be consumed with homework every day. I want him to enjoy his youth more. Is this what American high school life is like? I would love to hear about your experiences during high school, if you don't mind sharing.
面白い!アーサーがクリスチャンってのもいい。I went to the United States when I was a high school student as an exchange student, and there I was saved. I wish I could speak English with native speakers like you two and have a fun chat.
