HI! Love the 96' Fleetwoods. I remember watching your video on your Marble Gray one for sale a few months ago. I couldn't afford the Fleetwoods, so my Sunday driver is a 1996 Sedan de Ville, with only 85, 000 miles. I hope to someday afford a Fleetwood. My daily driver is a Lincoln Town Car. I have no use for the "cars" that are made today. People raised in the 1960's like me appreciate these big beautiful cars! Love your sense of humor! Keep the videos coming!

I also had a dark blue 1996 Deville. It was the only Northstar of 6 I owned that did not drip oil. Last I heard it had 250K miles on it. I figure none of my Northstars had the head bolt block threads deterioration problem, buying another would be pushing my luck. But I still lust after another 1995 to 2002 Eldorado Touring Coupe. I once had a 2001 ETC.

The last of the body on frame RWD V8 Cadillacs...aka the ORIGINAL style of Cadillac, what defined the brand for the majority of its lifetime and led them to their highest level of success. Not quick per se, but definitely fast in the sense they can cruise at 100mph all day without stress or hiccup. Doesnt handle, but thats not the point. The point is to be as comfortable as possible on long highway runs. This car would be the ultimate cross-continent road trip vehicle. I really actually prefer the Roadmaster due to them being a little more simple and plentiful. Not as many of this generation of Caddy were made as they were focusing on the STS and Deville...but these were really the best of the best in the era. Would love to own one of these but theyre impossible to find in this day and age. Sweet ride.

I agree, I prefer the Roadmaster. 10" shorter makes a difference! But, it does not take much to improve the handling of these Fleetwoods. All it really takes is stiffer shocks. (but the same goes for the Roadmaster).

I'm so confused that this one has fewer views than the others. It was fun getting together to film it anyway. It's such a beautiful car with a very unique color!💜

Just a suggestion is to invest in a lapel mic. Randy with “Auto Auction Rebuilds” has a nice one and it keeps the audio levels uniform.

@@MostlyBuicks - I can’t wait! I hope this video gains traction. I’ve found that the YT algorithm likes channels that consistently upload at least every 3 days. Obviously that’s not feasible for your channel but the point is that it all depends on how much YT pushes it in people’s recommendations.

@@RustyZipper Yes this video greatly under performed my other Fleetwood videos. I do this for fun. But it is always more fun if more people get the opportunity to view.

Is the Cadillac Fleetwood available with 16 or 17 inch wheels from the factory?
@MostlyBuicks9 ай бұрын
They only came with 15" wheels on these Fleetwoods. I think the Devilles and other had 16" wheels.

This would easily be a "slab" here😅😅,some idiots go messing up a good car by throwing ugly rims and trunk rattling mess in the back🤢,just keep it classic😢

This car has a 5.7 LT1 Chevy engine. It is also rear wheel drive.

@@MostlyBuicks nice! thats what I like to hear ! was that a factory option? when did they start shitting out the northstars?
@MostlyBuicks Жыл бұрын
@@titoqwentezproductionz3406 The Northstar debuted with the 1993 Cadillac Allante. The last Northstar was in 2011. But the full frame rear wheel drive Cadillacs from the 1990s never had the Northstar. The 1994-1996 Fleetwoods had the same drivetrain as the 1994-1996 Impala SS and 1994-1996 Buick Roadmaster. The LT-1 was STANDARD on these cars, not an option. Furthermore, the front wheel drive uni-body Cadillacs of the 1990s all had either the 4.9 or the Northstar. By 1996 they only had Northstars. Do not confuse a 1994-1996 Fleetwood with a DeVille. Not at all the same animal.
