(Also i realised the white flash is a layer behind those black ground stuff at 1:38 so ill fix that also the recorder forgot to enable shakes so the video doesn't look as good as the actual level)

This level has a come a very long way. I still remember the time when this level is supposed to be just a slightly better "The Golden" remake, but later evolved with improved gameplay and decoration. Decisions like these truly paid off in the long run. Good job to everyone who worked on this level. -Now let's just hope no one decides to commit avernus on this level-

It is because people like to watch players beat hard stuff. Also top 1's are nearly always going to be more popular than Easy demons. I agree it'd be nice to have an easy to hard demon like this, but it would be infinitely less popular.

The parallax effects are amazing. Not the background, but the foreground. I love how it makes the level appear far away. The level being in art style makes it so much better than the competition (hardest levels, ranked by beauty) as well. I also love that it actually lets you see its own decoration instead of becoming a total blur to watch like how so many levels are.
