Checking the video well explained. Just one thing to add AMEX plat card holder get Tajepicure preferred membership but without Complimentary Taj voucher making it a bit of spoiler as buying directly entitled you for the same as well.

As long as you can recover the fees of this card it should be a good choice. For travel Axis Magnus is also a good alternative.

My honest opinion of this card : 1. This is not a card which suits majority of Indian lifestyles. 2. We wouldn’t see major lifestyle benefits like movie offers etc and except for Delhi NCR Amex hasn’t done a invite specific event elsewhere. 3. Hotel memberships can be purchased directly which is more value for money. 4. Lounge network of Amex in india is poor hardly 2 lounges in entire country is disappointing . 5. Platinum charge concierge is equivalent to platinum reserve concierge in my experience. 6. Overall from 2nd year the card will pinch a normal user more considering the benefits. Conclusion : This card is not for someone who looks out for normal lifestyle benefits and won’t allow you to extract the fee paid unless one spends extremely well on travel.

I agree with you, but not all cards are meant for everyone. That’s why they are categorised as super premium cards.

@@cardwaalebaba True. I know this is not a venue for comparison but at that fee there are cards which give you a much better value and memberships. If they improve their lounge network atleast for a start that’s a better sign which isn’t happening. Also it’s such a pain to use Amex cards at merchant outlets . They wouldn’t accept unless it’s a INR 50K swipe and do not enable their Mpos machines so that Amex cards go through. In that perspective hitting milestones is way too difficult. Only plus I see is great customer service always.

This is such a waste card from Amex. If you compare with US Amex platinum you will see that the annual fee is slightly less for US variant while that card has much better benefits such as $200 hotel credit, $240 digital subscription credit, $200 Uber, $200Airline incidental fee.
