AMF and Brunswick are 2 companies that make me proud to be American. I think the pin setter is the most beautiful and underrated piece of machinery every invented. American ingenuity at its finest.

I left the industry about 7 years ago,worked on amf and Brunswick machines for 20 years i t did not matter to me whether it was a Brunswick A,A2 or AMF 82-30,82-70 Brunswick GS series. as long as I was paid well. went from being part time pinchacer to tech manager for a large company in my time and I enjoyed it all.....

I’ve been Bowling for 10 Years and I hate that the AMF Machines I bowled on were crap while on Brunswick GS-92’s the other hand seems to be decently ok. Well both pinsetters are poorly maintained but the GS-92’s seems to resists any dirty effects that can go into, plus the mechanics worked on them pretty much are trying their best unlike the other mechanics on the AMF machines were dirty ass lazy as hell. If I would work as a Pinsetter mechanic, it doesn’t matter I got paid cause from the bottom of my heart that I personally wanna see League or Serious Tournament Bowlers having a great time and see smiles on their faces, I don’t even care of watching Open or Casual Bowlers enjoying cause their Gutterballs and Open Frames makes me sick.

I am one, well B Mechanic.. The noise you get used to EXCEPT the sound of the occasional Pinjam, Will never forget that sound. Its not fun and games... Not all the time. Certain things will make be you want to torn on a few machines beside you so no one will hear you swearing.. Carpet change, or Pitjob.. Still, I love working on the 82/70 MPs

Izzynutz Restorations. Regardless of what name or term, it’s still pretty much the same, it’s still a machine that sets pins and returns balls.

1 alley with 4 mechanics? Is that typical?
@PinoyBowlerGS924 жыл бұрын
Yes. Some centers only need 2, 3, or 4 Mechanics. Depending on how many lanes are in one bowling center.
I'm the only mechanic at my 8 lane house and it has been working quite well

Props to these mechanics being good at their jobs, but this video gave me the sense that the lane technology is very unreliable; so unreliable that it needs fixing all the time.

System implementation is non-cognizant of fricatives , plosives nor inferential aliasing constraints . I like these machines but I would not work on if they not maintained by lazy mechanics. I would rather remove their jobs if they didn’t clean or maintain the machines, I don’t care cause the reputation of the business would crash to the ground.
