jeffrey63031 From my understanding, I have not been able to locate it in writing and seen with my own eyes but I was told Nataliya Konovalova, a russian reborn artist of over 10 years and part of the PDMAG professional doll maker art guild i thin kits what it is called is part of this group and is voted by a jury per say and awarded this prestigious title of Master artist. i have a friend in the community who so has a new doll by this artist and she says for sure shes a master artist. I guess to doll collectors it ensures your getting the best from this artist? That the artist is seasoned, its like the highest level of honor when referring to doll makers art

I would try ebay for your first reborn. Simply search “reborn” and set your max price and start there. Many artists will only do business with people that are active and known buyers with a reputation to avoid scamming. Finding a reborn on the second market is a great way to buy. As you learn more about the hobby, you will meet more people and become familar with different artists. All artists create unique and different dolls so its all about finding an artist that makes reborns for sale in your price bracket and style of painting that you like.

Sadly, I've had negative encounters with eBay, Etsy, and Amazon. gave hey all have been a lot of money for ones that really don't look real. I'd rather get one Good one. Instead of working on a collection I rent one room in somebody's home so I really can't afford a collection. Financially or space wise😔 But it looks fun to have a nursery I can't do that. So I'd like to get a REALLY, realistic one, full silicone between 19 and 20 in. And maybe, anywhere between five lbs 5oz and eight pound baby girl.
