Try doing something similar with Honda mobilio with lift kit and front and back bumper and 4x4 conversion for offroad

I did put a few small cuts in the tread from hitting the fender by the bottom of the door so I trimmed it back a few inches. It can still rub a little but only at full lock.

Where did you buy the front bumper? I have a 1986 Chevy G30 Quigley 4X4 and I really like that bumper!

I'm also thinking of running 35s on my G20. 35x12.5x15. what do you think? Is it doable? Obviously thinking of putting a 6" lift with 2" spacers

With mine having the 4" spindle and 2" spacers I still had to trim a little of the fender near the bottom to fit 35's and I still get a little rub if I have to turn up a steep approach. I'm happy with mine the way it is but a different tread style and wheel offset might make it worse. I guess it depends if you're willing to trim the fender or not. I would've thought twice about trimming mine if it was actually a nice van. Hope that helps.

I actually just started on it last week and welded the hitch on today. I'm taking it kind of slow now that the van is running and driving so well.

@@RC_ALL_DAY I haven't actually built the winch mount yet. I just didn't want to have to cut the hole for the fairlead after painting it. I can make a video on it but it might be a while since im working on getting it ready for a long road trip this winter.

I have a 94 g30 coachman camper top 146 inch wheel base would this set up be to high as in a dangerous situation

I think it would be fine. the lift spindles push the wheels out a few inches so mine handles and corners pretty much just like stock. I even took it on a 3300 mile trip this past winter and 80 mph feels fine. Im not sure what all differences there are between the parts for the g30 and g20 though. Im pretty sure the geometry is all the same and I know they make lift spindles designed for c2500 and c3500 but you might find some differences to deal with.

@amhicks21 Would u be willing to set me up with a list of the things that I would need to pursue this? im ne w5o the seen, but I've been dreaming of a set up like this for years and know that I have a 1990 g20 explorer as a daily driver and the 1994 g30 extended camper top coachman camper weekender warrior I feel like this is the only way to go no other alternative or direction this is it would it be possible.

@@jessecastro89 Yeah, Ive thought about building a few to sell since no one's making bumpers for g vans. Im just coming in to the busy time at work so I can't say when I'd be able to get around to it though. I'll keep you in mind and let ya know and we can talk more about details if your still interested.
