It will definitely effect the mavericks too, quit trying to act like they're some perfect team with the brightest future in the league. They got lucky they made it out the west this year but theres no way they will be back on this stage again.

@@SF48292 you don’t know that about the Celtics. That’s what everyone said in ‘22 they’d be back next year and they weren’t. Nothing is guaranteed in the NBA. @@SF48292 they have until next year. After that Tatum's next contract (which would be at least as expensive as Brown if not more) kicks in, and the cap rules would end up breaking them up. They'll have to somehow dump an expensive, old Holiday after next year to keep them at a relatively manageable level, and you just don't replace guys like him at the bargain shop. Look at what happened with the Warriors for another team that's way too expensive for the cap rules.

They've enjoyed a great whistle for decades. They also have a friggin super superteam (superteams are always hated by other teams' fans, rightfully so), they also have enjoyed a significantly weaker conference. They wouldn't wouldn't have won game 1 vs the Pacers if the refs didn't rig it hard for them. Which kinda killed the momentum for Indiana for game 2. Cuz they played a near perfect game 1 and they still lost by BS officiating. That killed their motivation. The NBA wanted Boston to go all the way. Let's see how the finals will be officiated. Good thing though is that the Mavs had to battle OKC with the officiating on their side. They should be ready for BS. Boston is much stronger though. We'll see.

Which means until 2020, only 95 rockets and 06 heat lost 29 or more regular season games, whereas last 3 Champs did (21 bucks prorated for 10 games missing due to covid), which would be 4 in a row with mavs, so it wouldn't be so unusual for a champ with that many losses, it would be 4th year in a row of it!

Personally I'm with the Mavs. Sure on paper Celtics are the better team but if you look at the Mavs, were they actually picked to win a series in this year's playoffs? Against the clippers? Thunder? and Wolves? Also the Celtics rely too much on Iso ball and just pass it to whoever is free outside. Mavs are the quickest team to adjust to an opposing team's strategy and the Celtics are nothing new they haven't faced before. Elite perimeter defenders like Jrue and White? (Kawhi, PG, Lu Dort), Iso heavy volume scorers like Tatum and Brown (PG, Kawhi, Ant, Shai, Harden), stretch bigs like Porzingis, and Horford (Kat, Chet). All in all, lets see, this is gonna be a fun series to watch. Who's your pick guys?

You do a great job of researching and your analysis is typically spot on. I think one thing you miss about this matchup is Tatum and browns insistence on driving to the bucket for easy in the paint scores. And, I think the bigs of Dallas are going to shut a lot of that down. This will certainly affect Boston's ability to score. I also think Dallas has a huge advantage in the coaching department. I think Derek White and Holiday may be the two major keys to a Boston win. If they don't play extremely well then I don't think they have a chance. I also think that this may be more than any other finals in history will have a huge focus on the refereeing.

I just don't wanna see Paul Pierce in national TV grinning ear to ear like he himself won that ring.

The regular season is very very very different from the playoffs. In 2016, the Warriors swept their regular season games versus the OKC. Despite the Game 7 loss. OKC is still able to put 3-1 lead before GSW storm back. And mind you, GSW at that time is not similar with the T-wolves that are tired of their previous series. In fact, it only lasted 5 games versus lillard's blazers. So, I don't believe in predictions relating to the regular season.

It happens often in football. The team w a buy is asleep to start next round, then the other team who’s battle tested gets off to a quick start, and the better team can’t make up the deficit The Cs have basically cakewalked to the finals. There’s a 0% chance that the mavs pull a pacers and gift games away, especially w all time closers in Luka and Kai. I think if the mavs steal game 1 things do not bode well for the Cs, especially if they think they can play like the how they did in the first 3 rounds

Tatum definitely has the ability to be clutch. Dirk was a playoff choker before 2011. People need to remember that

Nice prediction.

The only time the mavs would be really criticized or hav pressure is if they go up 2-0, 3-0, 3-1 and lose. Celtics have all the pressure. And unless they give up 2 games, then they’ll have pressure until they win

Dallas has more experience in the nba finals with players like markieff morris, Kyrie Irving and coaches like Jason Kidd and assist coach Jared Dudley. While most of the Celtics players been to 1 nba finals except Jrue Holiday and a coach & gm that have never won a ring.

Thank you, finally someone who isn't disrespecting the C's. Don't love the organisation, but their top 5 is just too perfect. Simply better on defence and offence

The last player I trust in a close high stakes game is Tatum. That’s why I feel like if the Knicks were healthy, Brunson would’ve dismantled them in the end of games and won the ECF
@conorwatchvidz6 ай бұрын
Plus it would’ve been such a dope finals if it was Brunson vs the Mavs

You understand basketball dude. Stephen A manages to get it wrong almost every year :-) How about you make a video about his predictions through the years
