Picks 5 yrs from now are a crapshoot - you can never tell who's going to be shit in 5yrs (you'd have better luck predicting a certain team is going to be very good and thus have late picks, ie OKC or San Antonio are likely to be drafting late in the first in 4-5 yrs, so their future FRP's aren't all that valuable in a trade)

The 1st trade is horrible for the Kings, they lose their star to get the 2nd worst contract in the league, not even the best FRP available, and unless Boston blows up sooner than later 2 future FRPs that is pretty much an early SRP. Also losing Lyles makes their 4/5 depth even worse than it currently is. It would be everyone but the Kings saying yes to that.
