I don't think LeBron saying the thing about the Bucks isn't saying they can't win a ring. He and AD have already gotten a ring together, and anything can happen in the playoffs. I think it meant more having a top seed record, winning night in and night out. Bron is 37, AD is made of glass, Westbrook is Westbrook, THT hasn't lived up to the hype, and Melo, Jordan and Howard are in the twilight of their career. This is a team whose only goal is to make the playoffs and hope AD and Bron are healthy and can take over. But virtually every other playoff team has a franchise centerpiece in their prime. Curry, Jokic, Mitchell, Booker, Antetokounmpo, Durant, Embiid... Lakers more have to hope luck falls their way. They're not in good shape moving forward. But it is LA, and Los Angeles will always be able to recruit superstars. They'll be able to buy their next franchise player whenever Bron, AD and Westbrook come off the books.

The lakers are stuck, honestly their best bet is if LeBron asks for a trade so they can get a team like Philly/Miami/Boston to give up a 1st rounder or 2 for LeBron then they can unload AD for a young player or 2 plus maybe another pick.
