Everyone said the 2024 NBA Draft was one of the worst in years but we really have no idea. What we do know is that Bronny is now a Laker and France is somehow taking over the NBA. How did all this happen? This is a look at the weirdest NBA Draft ever.

why is Jeanie the owner of the Lakers?
@JeremyGraczyk
@JeremyGraczyk 3 ай бұрын
@@nolanneals2568 That doesn't mean you can't call it out. And this is well beyond normal nepotism. Does LeBron own the Lakers? Does LeBron manage the Lakers? When a company CEO hires their own kid for a lucrative job, everyone knows it's BS but there's nothing you can do. But when an employee forces a manager to hire their kid - either because they're friends with the manager or have something on them - over someone who is more qualified, _that person almost always gets way more hate_ than in the former example. What makes this even worse is LeBron's constant lying about the whole situation. Last year when he was angry the Lakers weren't playing well, he said 4.8 PPG scorer Bronny could start on the Lakers and do better than his own teammates. It's been how many years that LeBron has said he desperately wants to play with his son, but then tries to lie and say he doesn't care so that no other team drafts Bronny. Then he gets sycophant Rich Paul _to threaten_ other teams not to draft him, even though he said he doesn't care - heck, he said he might not even stay with the Lakers even if they draft Bronny!! (Suuuuuuure he won't) It's not just that it's a nepotism hire. It's the fact that LeBron, a fellow employee on the Lakers, bullied and strong-armed his way into getting his undeserving son picked. Not for the benefit of the Lakers or their fans, but for his own selfish reasons. Just another example of LeBron being the most selfish person, biggest liar and biggest drama queen media w****** ever to play the game

In the entire history of the Minnesota Timberwolves, they have never been relevant for a decade straight. Also in 2030 the wolves wont have Kat, Gobert and Conley. Which mean its a team of Jalen, Ant and Rob basically. Also Ant (like 90% of american players) will likely demand a trade to a big market the second shit goes bad for the wolves as no one want to live in MN. They are also facing more than a 200m salary obligations without renewing Nas/NAW, two of their critical bench pieces after next year. Lastly, the wolves only have their 2028 first round pick left to trade until 2031, so they have little way to add cheap talent in the draft. I am willing to guarantee that the Wolves will not be good in 2030. The chances of holding that team together when they already have 3 max players who aren't taking any pay cuts is virtually impossible. The Spurs bet on the Hawks being bad, and were right and now they get three high picks over the next few years unless the Hawks magically become a contender, I would argue their logic on the Wolves being bad is very likely to pan out, or those picks will be somewhere else after Spurs use them in a trade. Perhaps they force a bad Wolves team to trade Ant to the Spurs so they can get a rebuild going

First off, there needs to be an investigation into this. That's not the proper way to conduct business. That Agent ought to be Sacked so to speak if indeed he said that. That could give other Agents the idea that eg if Charlotte had the number one pick and the Agent says his Client is going to play in Europe if you draft him. Charlotte will think twice about Drafting him. His Client might just want to play for the Lakers, Knicks, Boston, Chicago or Miami. The league would become a 5 team Association. That's no fun.

Thats 70% of all roster spots. Plus, as a late 2nd round pick whose contract maxes out at $7mil over 4yrs. *The Lakers, the NBA, and LeBron & Bronny (through merch sales) will milk it for hundreds of millions in total profits* just for the historic first time they play together. The Celtics really should have drafted him and let him go to Australia. They don’t even need that pick anyway 😂

The ONLY time Brony and Lebron will be on the court together is.... an exhibition game? Maybe when they're playing the Pistons? I mean, if I was on a NBA team and Brony came on the court, I would try-hard like no one ever has before.

Honestly the Lakers wre setting up JJ Redick up to fail. The roster isnt going to be good enough and by the end of next season he is going to be used as their Scapegoat

Reed Sheppard 52.1% Rob Dillingham 44.4% Dalton Knecht 39.7% - A good 3-point shooter but not the best in this draft. If anything, the 2024 NBA Draft will be remembered for the large number of first round picks who were not good 3-point shooters.

@@antokarman2064 I couldn't believe it when they picked Ron Holland. He's a great defender but the guy can't shoot. And Detroit needs players who can score. SMH
