I think the trade is pretty fair value wise. Wiggins has 3 years left and is a big question mark. Kuminga is a great prospect but whoever gets him is going to have to pay him lots of money for that hope he becomes great. It's a big risk. Golden State just didn't give him enough looks to say for sure. If the Heat like Kuminga long term maybe the first round pick isn't necessary. But either way I don't think the warriors get better by doing it even if it's fair.

@ a fair trade for Jimmy? There isn’t a fair trade because he is over paid. The NBA players went through a period where they over paid players and now in order to trade them under the new CBA rules you have to give up more than what a player is worth due to the player being over paid. As an example if a Jimmy is worth say 25M but is over paid making 40M a year that’s 15M over his contribution to the team. Therefore let’s say a team did everything right paying players not by they talent but by their contribution to the team. It’s up to the player to use his talent to be a contributor to the team. If a team wanted to Jimmy they would have to give up 45M in player salaries, over paying by 15M because the heat over paid him. Teams were paying these high salaries because of his talent instead of his contribution and teams no longer are doing it. If your talent doesn’t contribute to playoff seed #1-#5 to compete for an nba title then teams are no longer paying you top dollar. This is why it’s hard to make trades right now simply teams over paid for there talent and want another team to pay the difference. Warriors have no scenario where it works unless they write a check for the difference and you can’t do that anymore. Salaries much match.
