I'm American, and I found this song about a month ago while scrolling YT. Since then, I've become obsessed with Indian culture, music, and dance. It's all so incredibly beautiful! There is so much I want to learn, and I have so many questions... Like the significance of the color red, and the alta on the hands and feet. It's just mesmerizing and I love it! Thank you for sharing this traditional dance, it's beautiful! Now, I have to learn Hindi! ❤❤❤

@@tabttu The red color symbolizes purity and the beginning of a new phase in the bride's life specially for Bengali brides, marked by love, prosperity, and marital bliss. Application of Alta is one of the most beautiful and graceful parts of Indian traditional dance.
