Personally I don’t think the lyrics specify that he’s talking to a girlfriend, they are left much more universal. And I agree with you, Dimash does brilliant things in these more commercial songs, that go over the heads of most. For one thing, the sound effect he makes & how he sings usually can only be achieved in studio with much post production. Unfortunately he’s so good it’s kicked up more people thinking it’s fake. It so isn’t 🦄
