Alex I feel you man...Jin is my bias too & his song Awake (the video you're talking about) did it for me. Especially when you realise that the lyrics are about him opening up about his insecurities as he felt he is not as talented as the others but he'll still do his best to try & fly. Hi Guys, First of all Airplane pt. 2 is the 8th track off Love Yourself 轉 ‘Tear’ released on May 18, 2018. This song is a follow-up on J-Hope’s solo song Airplane on his mixtape Hope World. According to him in an interview by Billboard, he played this song to their CEO and said that the theme was good and authentic to BTS' style so he kept working on it then “Airplane pt. 2” was born from the inspiration of Airplane. This song is about their success and their double life as a person and an idol, about the fact that they stayed true to their early dreams and that they are still the same people despite their success. El Mariachi is the name of a traditional Mexican music band / band, specializing in singing on demand on festive occasions. BTS is the same. They go around the world performing according to the wishes of the fans. There is a MV for Airplane Pt2 but it is copyrighted because it's a japanese version. Then I regret like you that I didn't see the whole performance of "Idol" because it was special. As you know, BTS have been continuously attacked since their beginnings for anything and everything in order to destroy them, you can imagine that at that time they were accused of being too Americanized but from their first album they paid tribute as it is the tradition in HipHop to the culture itself and to the artists who influenced them (Eminem, 2Pac, JayZ, Kendrick, Kanye, Epic High...). ...), including the tracks "HipHop Love" and "Road" for example; with this performance they paid an incredible tribute to Korean culture through the dances of JHope, Jimin and Jungkook, the intrumental entirely played with traditional Korean instruments, the clothing and the colors of the flag which have a historical significance... They proved that the strength of their music lies essentially in its content (melody, lyrics, messages, dances) as much as in the container which has the same power whether it is American or Korean. There is a wonderful video (a bit long 39mn) on the explanation of this performance full of references, it's a documentary that deserves to be broadcasted on National Geographic; if you like to learn about world cultures and their stories, I strongly recommend it, you'll see that in this performance nothing is done at random . I appreciate you appreciating Jin 💜. I remember watching this live(stream), I was speechless! I was so proud of them for showing their love for their culture. All these dances were typical dances of South Korea. The boxes they sit in in th beginning were giving us the clue about the new album name Persona! The people are shouting the fan chant at the beginning of airplane: leader and then according to age: Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook, BTS!

FAKE LOVE choreography is one of the hardest in my opinion.. a lot of idol trainees train using this song to prove their company to let them debut etc, and many failed. not only it's hard to do the choreo, the second big challenge is to SING whilst doing the choreography 💀 even if you're a good singer you'd get out of breath

Guys YOU HAVE TO REACT TO IDOL! its one of my favorites it has traditional Korean instrumentals, outfits dance and it has an African inspired dance too! The thing is the original MMA video is not a whole its been broken down into 2-3 videos so if you search for only IDOL performance from MMA you guys would get its sucks that the link was not right :/ And about Airplane pt 2 the song basically you hear them call themselves El Mariache which if I'm not wrong is spanish for a group of singers who sing together traveling around so thats what it is! The IDOL performance was lit from Jhope’s part to the end of the peformance it was Korea’s pride. From the traditional clothes, traditional dances and tge traditional instruments. The IDOL here was a little different because the didn’t use the studio version they use LIVE traditional korean instruments that’s why it sounded little different. Watching mma 2018 idols performance make me wonder back to the time when idols introduce to the world with year end performance which fill with the flavor of colorful korean traditional element. For me, it's a thumb up 👍to our boys n bh for doing this. At that time, ppl r accusing bts for being too westernize in their music to please foreign market, while the fact is a big no no to that opinion. The lyric of idols prove themselves that they r artist with uplifting spirit of loving their culture value by giving statement they know who they r n what they want that incorporate so many culture element in mv n performance. In mv, there's diverse culture references n in mma performance, they invite group of traditional artist to perform with them even doing new remix by using traditional musical instruments plus circular leaping dance moves in choreography derived from folk pungmul dance
