@@Bb-pw1zi Slight name mix-up there. Original front man was Bon Scott. He's the one who died. Current front man, and the one singing here, is Brian Johnson. Interestingly, Bon Scott is the one who found him, a few years before he died. They saw Johnson singing in a bar, and Scott loved his voice so much, he told Angus this was the guy he wanted to replace him if anything ever happened. Cut to a couple of years later, Angus remembered this conversation, and recommended to the group that they find Brian Johnson and check him out. The rest is history. Such a great band....

For real, the dude is a fricking perpetual motion machine, saw them during their Stiff Upper Lip tour and even though Angus wasn't exactly a spring chicken anymore at the time the guy didn't stand still for more than a minute or two through the whole 2 hour gig... Amazing to see, what I remember very vividly was that at the tail end of the gig when the screens showed a close up of Angus headbanging there was a steady stream of sweat flying from his hair. The gig is one of my most cherished childhood memories, I'm so happy that I got to see them when they were still all in top form, while maybe not in their prime anymore still in good shape and with the decades of experience in putting up amazing shows delivered an experience I doubt anyone in the audience will ever forget.

I used to do security at gigs in London back in the early 80's. When AC/DC played at the Hammersmith Odeon the outer doors of the building going out onto the street would 'pulse' about 3-4 inches in time with the music from the amount of air being moved by the huge banks of speakers! It was so funny when, at the end of the gig, some of the crowd who were near the stage came out looking like they'd been in a fight with Mike Tyson.

My favorite part of any reaction is when they fade out completely before the 2nd "You've been..." to silence at 5:04. By this point, everyone is on board. They're all drinking the Kool Aid. They're banging their heads. Huge smiles on their faces. Then it all stops and, for a moment, they look lost, like someone took away their favorite toy they were playing with a moment ago. And then they hand it back, and the huge smiles and head banging returns x2.

AC/DC are from Australia. It was founded by Malcolm and Angus Young in 1973. They got their name from their sister who sewed on an ac/dc sewing machine. She also sewed Angus’ school boy uniform that he wears and continued doing so throughout their careers. Angus is brilliant on the lead guitar and NEVER stops moving during a concert. Malcolm played rhythm guitar and back up vocals. The lead singer, Brian Johnson, joined the band in 1980 after the original lead singer, Bon Scott, passed away. This just gives you a small glimpse of who the band is. Sorry, I don’t know much about the bass guitarist or the drummer. But the band’s music still makes you want to get up and dance!

It has own entry to the cemetery for the public. And has to be maintained regularly due to gifts being left and wear and tear from ppl touching it. Right before covid hit Perth last year we held a AC/DC ‘highway to hell’ concert. Which had 8 floats with bands that played along a 10km highway. So many amazing songs from an epic band.
