Good evening from Scotland! Yes, this was her first performance in the amazing Russian competition "You are Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage. She is a dramatic contralto which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young! She is now 17yo (18yo on 31st May) and she sings in 6 languages, Russian, English, French, Spanish, German and Arabic and she's only 17!!! Добрый вечер из Шотландии! Да, это было ее первое выступление в замечательном российском конкурсе «Ты супер» для брошенных и неблагополучных детей, потому что Диана провела несколько лет в детском доме. Она - драматическое контральто, которое редко бывает у женщин, но исключительно редко у таких молодых! I would recommend that for a versatile transition Diana’s Cover of “Blizzard”....she’s the youngest Dramatic Alto. This is “why she can switch it up so effortlessly. @@codece172-ak2 I felt somewhat uncertain at first, I researched the N. East Largest City in Russia 🇷🇺 and found an Indigenous Tribal Group. My Tribes Traditional Dances are very unique compared to others so I was somewhat surprised to hear them and see their steps looking familiar. Diana’s many fans have stated that she has a cultural tie to an indigenous Group as well as her father being Azerbaijani. I researched the part of their cultural tone and she does have the melodic tone of the very same. Well, I certainly appreciate any traditional culture and I have found that I am drawn toward it.

My question was inspired by the fact that, as I heard, the native peoples of the North in Russia (in Sibiria and Far East) and the indigenous North American peoples are close not only genetically, but have preserved similar tribal traditions. In particular, shamanic rituals, songs and dances. In Russia, these are not Azerbaijanis, who unite a large group of aboriginal Caucasian tribes, such as, for example, the Talysh; but such peoples as the Chukchi, Yakuts, Eskimos, Nenets, Evenks, Kamchadals, smwt 40 ethnicities with a population ranging from 0.44 mn to 0.2 th people.

Yes, this was Diana's very first appearance on "You Are Super" in 2018 - the last judge to push his button said afterwards that he forgot as he was so engrossed in the performance. Diana did indeed go on to win the competition. In fact, there was a "Grand Prix" season, for past winners / finalists, the next year in 2019 ("Wicked Game" was from this season) - Diana won that as well.

That bald guy is Igor Krutoy, one of the greatest composers and pianist of our time. He also took Dee Ah Na (Diana) to Moscow and put her up in an apartment and pays for it and her vocal lessons. He is fully behind her career. And he's not late smackin down the buzzer, he's doing something called, being polite and not interrupting her performance. for newcomers: Why do the judges didnt push the button sooner ? They already know Diana's skills, so, for respect to the local audience and tv-show, they dont want that ANOYING buzzer sound get played along the performance (times 3), so they (sometimes) have to wait until there is no song or musinc playing.

Oh I love this song! I randomly found it in Spotify while shuffle playing random playlist and added it to my own after. She added her own twist to it and I’m not mad at it at all, sounded gorgeous. I think the girl you were talking about is Angelina Jordan from Norway who won the Norway's Got Talent @ 8 years old in 2014. She's incredibly talented and unique singer and she also took part of Amarica's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. Please check her performance of "I put a spell on you" from her official KZbin channel. Also her version of the Bohemian Rhapsody at the AGT in 2020 was amazing.

Great to see another reaction to Diana Ankudinova (by the way, since her name is Russian, it is pronounced DEE-anna - not quite the same as in English). The other girl that you are referring to is probably Angelina Jordan, who won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8 (started performing there at 7, completed that season at 8 years old). She is truly remarkable. As others have mentioned, there are several good starting points for her. She has over 130 performances here on KZbin.
