A crying shame it ended up not being released. One of the very best arcade ports on the amiga

The winter is coming.. so it's time to play this fun game! And great version for the Amiga

The music is so good here, they even put in this version the music from Toki! Also at 30:37 , that Batchi (or Flyng Fooga Foog) is doing the moonwalk

I thought it was released on the good old 3.5 floppy? The start says it was from Ocean, a pretty big dev back in the day, I don't see why it wouldn't have been released.

I also expected to get this game to my Amiga 500, when i was a kid back in the early 1990's. And i still own the original Commodore 64 and Amiga computers + games 😺👍🕹️.

When i saw some pictures of SNOW BROS. from the old magazine called COMPUTER AND VIDEO GAMES, I noticed, that it was gonna come for the Amiga. Sadly, i never saw it at any game stores or flea markets. It looks actually as awesome as BUBBLE BOBBLE, PARASOL STARS and DON DOKO DON. 🐱👍

Rod Land on the Amiga was a great conversion in this line of games, as well....

@@marceltiel7919 I believe, i still have ROD-LAND on my Amiga 500. I even finished it only once 😺👍🕹️. And it's definitely one of the best arcade conversions on the Amiga ever. 😺👍

Love the NES version of this game. Played a lot back in the day! Oh how time flies! Pure Nostalgia 🥲

the gameplay seems equally fun and the AMIGA graphics give the bosses a lot of personality. The bosses seem to be way too easier but its ok. and the music is amazing! this version of the 5th world music is very unique, in a good way!

Its funny how the premise is similar to final fight - the one who kidnaps the princess isn´t the “big bad”, but just the boss of the first area.

The game oddly uses some tracks from Toki, the High Score and the Cart Ride theme are used for both the level introduction and high score tables respectively

sorta like bubble bobble in a round about way. Is it me or did the artist for that disturbing face never get to see what the main character actually looks like?

arcade version didnt had them, that is a feature only on this version i think, but the arcade version did had the bonus bills if you cleared the room with one ball

Kinda strange that the music for the name entry screen is the Cart Ride BGM from Toki. In the original arcade version, there is no name entry music!

something about this 1990 game that doesnt ring true is the colours used on screen. they blend in in too well suggesting that a colour pallete of more than 4096 was used. looks more like a 1200 colour pallete? they shades are too close?
@Midwinter2 Жыл бұрын
Nah, that's standard 32-colour mode. I say "standard" - but a lot of games used only 16 colours. Getting things moving at 50fps was a chore in 32 colours - though the top programmers did it, like in this game.
