Remember a friend having this on the Amiga when it came out - the Amiga was a top of the range hi-spec machine back then, and this game was epic for the time - loved the gun and footstep noises. Thanks for uploading - brings back some good memories. Anyone doubting it, check out the C64 version for a comparison...

Rococop2 was one of my personal favourites. All the action is excellent! This one made me proud of having an Amiga. MidnightResistance and HudsonHawk were great games too!! Cheers

This game was absolutely mind blowing when I first saw a family friend play it on his Amiga, I had a ZX Spectrum and although I knew the C64 had better graphics even it could not do anything like this colourful mayhem I was watching on an Amiga. I think that as much as I adored my Speccy things would never be the same again and so I asked my parents for an Amiga.

I used to like to play Robocop 2 on the AMIGA. - Sweet childhood memories. But when I look at the game today, with my 30 years more life experience, I realize that it is one of those games where the gameplay has nothing to do with the template. - It probably didn't bother anyone back then. Nowadays it's out of time.

I used to play Robocop 1 on the Spectrum. A lot. To this day I still see it as one of the best action games ever made. It obviously suffers from all the pros & cons of an 80s action game. But it manages to have a very solid gameplay, including first-person sequences and even puzzles. If one can overcome the poor graphics it still offers a very entertaining experience. Robocop 2 - on the other hand - suffers from a lot of concepts of its time: repetitive gameplay, overused assets, etc... I think that many games - during the transition from 8 to 16 bits - were specially focused on the "10 minute angle" : they'd try to show all the fireworks during the first 10 minutes of gaming... and then it's all the same onwards. Just my opinion, obviously.

Can I ask you a serious question? Why must every arcade game like this have a timer? If I had to pick one thing that I hate about arcade games, it would be timed levels. If there's a cheat to turn off the timer, that's the first thing that I do. I don't even try to play the game with the timer active because to me, it's no fun to be rushed through a game, only to fail because I took 5 seconds too long to reach the exit.

Simple, it was so you had to pour more money into the machine to keep playing, they were designed to make money for the companies who made them, same with fruit machines. Best way to enjoy old arcade games is through MAME, you don't need real money for that :-D

Redaktionen3210 if you're saying graphically (visually) Amiga RoboCop 2 is a masterpiece I agree however the original Amiga RoboCop game had better audio or sounded better (superior) in some areas

I think all the seemingly random Metroid-style stuff in this game ruined it for me. Flying platforms, gears on tracks in the walls, compacter-like things that just go up and down, electrical barriers, isolated conveyer belts, etc.

This version of Robocop, is the only real sequel of the first coin op, and it is only for Amiga. All the other version of Robocop 2, are sucks, included the coin op, which was just a beat em up with guns. This Robocop 2, is a real master piece...

I could of sworn this was a later level. Or maybe when i was young and playing for so long mindlessly getting lost that it felt like later level ha. Even with an unlimited hp trainer those blue things crush you... i used to think they where Micky mouse heads, then again i was around 8-9 years old.

It was weird, I had this as a kid and as soon as you reach the bottom of the 1st level the screen would start to flash red, then when the amiga was reset it would still happen

this game was lots of fun if you played it with a trainer. Without cheats, the randomness of things and the amount of unavoidable shit flying everywhere makes the game too damn difficulty. It looks good and it's very smooth for an Amiga game. Shame about the gameplay not being really that good.

Such terrible music, the Amiga is capable of sooo much better in the right hands :/ Saying that though, the film didn't have any real memorable soundtrack, not like the unforgettable melody of the first film. Still, the game looks good, although I don't remember playing this at all back in the day, I did play the first Robocop a lot though on several machines, ST, Amiga C64...happy days! :)

Robop is one of favorite movies, but this game look pretty bad. I own the original Robocop for the NES, but every verison of Robop 2 that I have seen just looks awful.
