Space bar and top housing are both good candidates for retro brighting.

Definitely. Once I get the machine into it's final form, I think I will try to retrobright all the yellowed components (the front case panel is pretty bad too). It's still a little strange to me that only the spacebar was yellowed. I've got an A1200 where just a single row of keys is yellowed. Doesn't quite make sense.

@@ClarkHale best video I saw on retrobrighting doesn't apply any peroxide to the plastic, the pieces are in a sealed container outside for a few days elevated above the solution.

@@ClarkHale that usually indicates PBT keys but ABS spacebar.

@@kaitlyn__L That makes sense. I suppose it's likely Commodore change materials during the total run of these keys, which would explain the mixed batches....
