DOS was only a port from AMIGA. Poor soundcard support, no split screen, less features in game.

DOS was only better for Sierra adventures. The rest was better on the AMIGA!!!!! :)

​@@andychicago8295 Wrong, PC version had better graphics with VGA 256 colors, amiga only supported 32 colors i think. RPG games were better on PC, also simulations, etc.

As a kid I didn't really understand how to play but I used to load the game all the time just for the intro and music, it took a few years and being a bit older before I learned how to play and ended up loving it so much. Thanks for sharing this video it sounds awesome

Probably the game I played most. First game I bought as a kid for Amiga.. really priceless. I would play it for entire days like nothing.. that thing became an obsession. It was so great to play it: a fitness center for multitasking, you were always doing three things while waiting for other seven things and then messages, attacks, etc.. and then . So good for exercise the memory but maybe a little too strong for a drug ^^; Perfect sound on headphones, amazing!

This is by far the best melody from the Amiga days. 20 years later i always wanted this song in a metal kind of way. One day i stumbled upon one that made the WHOLE song and not just "first three minutes". Didn't Kludzuweit compose Settlers 2 and this one was composed by Haiko Ruttmann I think.

@@Kuokka77 Aaah, got it, thanks. Hard to find info on some of those older composers. I tried to see which of the two Lethal Weapon music composers for Amiga did which track. I had luck and found Barry Leitch who confirmed he composed my favorite two tracks on that game. Level 1 and Map tracks. :) I still listen to this and I still play the game from time to time on my A1200.

+Jetpackman01 Settlers theme is originally in stereo too but C64 tracks are usually mono sound(if not modded system), so using dolby headphone settings would not make it stereo.
