Thanks mate! Amazing job with the plugin! From the crunchy sound which I am in love with, to the great interface and the simplicity of the whole thing. No menu diving, everything is useful and immediate. I'm looking forward to your future work and wish you great success with Amigo! 💜

@@oscilop since u mentioned in the video we actually made an online theme editor already two days ago :) it has a random color feature, and u can name them + download just keep a local folder with different ones and drag and drop directly onto amigo to load them or use the [load] button to open them

@@stekker1 that's super cool! but it would be way nicer if you find a way to integrate that in the plugin so it's faster and more immediate. nice job creating that regardless. 😊

As a former 1990s Sound Engineer in Beatfarms studio London I love the LESS IS MORE you can JUSt get on with the the problem I find with modern Cubase etc. is you can just spead TOO much time getting to learn the new features etc. etc.. and it gets in the way of the point ...ie just making MUSIC .. I have just got this and absolutely LOVE it ... its the s***T

Less is more for certain styles of music but not modern styles. Mid 90s Drum n Bass was being made with basic DAWS and through analog desks, the production style back then was very simple in its approach, probably even sidechaining wasn't really a thing, layering kicks etc... But you cant get away with that if your trying to make the modern psytrance, EDM, etc, because those producers are like scientists in a lab. The 90s was write a track and you where pretty much done, as long as you mixed a nice sound, balanced bass and drums you where good to go. Today, your up against guys using 300 bits of automation, 100s of sidechaining trickery, multitudes of fx layering etc...

This VST is pure gold! Within minutes of downloading I was making textured bass and slicing breaks that sound like my old school cassettes from the 90's. Lowering the sample rate on drum breaks gives it the missing texture that take work crafting inside DAWs. Thanks for your post, this VST is the magic sauce I've been looking for as a sample editor.

Wonderful plugin. I'm on holidays now and if there is one thing that makes me look forward to returning is to play further with this one. ^^. Great video and review. Subbed. Oh btw: you can use slide when you turn on chord mode by flipping back and forth between the two modes to turn it on. It's such a cool effect. ;-). Cheers!

@@oscilop subjective of course, not all samples sound good with the polyrhythmic feature especially ones with a digital edge. I've been doing some testing and found more that don't sound good than those that do. It seems the more simple less attack more release one note type drones sound the best.
@oscilop
@oscilop 4 ай бұрын
@@jkdrake1 Try sampling one note and then play a chord with it. Or sample a chord and play it with single notes. Not everything you throw at it will sound good so it's up to you to figure out what you like and don't like. 😊
