Never seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone ,but love your neighbor as your self .I am the Lord .( Leviticus 19:18) You must never ,as long as you live, try to help the Ammonites or the Moabites in any way .( Deuteronomy 23:6) 27 But if you are willing to listen , I say ,love your enemies .Do good to those who hate you .28 Pray for the happiness of those who curse you .Pray for those who hurt you .35 Love your enemies ! Do good to them ! Lend to them ! And don't be concerned that they might not repay .Then your reward from heaven will be very great , and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High ,for he is kind to the unthankful and to those who are wicked .( Luke 6:27-28, 35) 14 I people persecute you because you are a Christian, don't curse them ; pray that God will bless them .20 Instead ,do what the Scriptures say : If your enemies are hungry ,feed them .If they are thirsty ,give them something to drink ,and they will be ashamed of what they have done to you . ( Romans 12:14,20) ; Luke 23:34; Acts 7:60 ; He did not retaliate when he was insulted .When he suffered ,he did not threaten to get even .He left his case in the hands of God ,who always judges fairly .(1 Peter 2:23) Don't repay evil for evil .Don't retaliate when people say unkind things about you .Instead ,pay them back with a blessing .That is what God wants you to do ,and he will bless you for it .(1 Peter 3:9) Do you think you deserve credit merely for loving those who love you ? Even the sinners do that ! ( Luke 6:32) Matt 18:17. So everywhere we go ,we tell everyone about Christ .We warn them and teach them with all the wisdom God has given us, for we want to present them to God ,perfect in their relationship to Christ .( Colossians 1:28) Jas 1:4; We all make many mistakes ,but those who control their tongues can also control themselves in every other way . ( James 3:2)
