I dont know if you invented this method or you are just showing people this technique you learned elsewhere...but it is BRILLIANT! Also, it's completely new to me! Y'all cannot even imagine how many hair tutorials/patterns I have seen online and here on YT, but it's ALOT-LOT, and still this is the 1st and only place I have seen it done this way! I honestly cant even express how many "issues" that I didnt like with other techniques that this fixes! For example: when rooting hair, there is always that knot that can be seen. Also, it is rather difficult, whether Im using hair wefts(made from yarn) or rooting strand by strand, to get a nice clean and blunt edge (such as with a "bob" hair style like this) (or even making "bangs" or a "fringe" that bevels under). This solves that issue! Thank you so much for taking the time to make the video and share it for FREE! It is so appreciated! You definitely have a new subscriber and I have already viewed this video at least a dozen times and will likely come back to it again and again! 💗 P.S. if u get the chance, please respond to this comment and let us know if this is a technique you discovered yourself and, if not, do u recall where you learned it from? I dont know what to call this skill and would love to see it used in other hair styles, patterns, variations of yarn weight, etc. Thanks again!!!

Thanks and glad to hear that you like this way of crocheting hair onto doll head, I crochet hair to doll using this technique because I don’t like hair “moving around” , it get very messy and can see the head underneath. I guess I “invented” this technique coz at that time I couldn’t find anyone crochet hair directly onto doll head.

I love this method. I’ve been stuck for months on making hair in my dolls. The pattern I am following I just can figure out. I he beauty of this is that it fits any size doll you want to make. It’s all about the length of each strand. Now I can finally finish my dolls. They’ve been bald for months and just waiting to be completed and sent to my friends.❤
