Do you love Totoro? I do!! This is my second time making a Totoro related video and this time I'll be showing you how to crochet a Totoro phone case cover. This is a perfect amigurumi for beginners tutorial, so if some of you are just starting hooking then this is a perfect project for you. In this amigurumi video I really show you step by step how to crochet this phone case using basic crochet stitches, therefore it's a very fun and easy amigurumi for beginners project to get started with. I'm really satisfied with how it turned out, in fact it is one of my current favorites.

Note that the hook (or needle, you called it) and/or yarn thickness will change the final size of the project. Eg, if you use a very small needle w/ a very thin yarn, you'll most likely come up with a small and thin project, whereas a thick hook and yarn will result in an equally bulky and large.

How long does this normally take to make?

It took me about two days to make this phone case, but if you're a beginner then it could take about one week or two. It really depends on your crochet experience. :)

I’m sorry but you cut wayy to much and some parts are really hard to see what you’re doing even if I slow down the video speed. I did the chain but after that it gets messed up cuz I’m not sure exactly what you’re doing

Madi Unnie i think you showed everything very well and was very easy to follow you made an excellent tutorial. The only question I, and many others have is just what type of yarn you are using, and what is the thickness of it? Also what size hook you are using? Thats the only part that you missed out, other than that it was a very good tutorial please make more :)
